Positive: Location, location, location! Exceptional views, super close to the beach, peaceful Kitchen well equipped, comfortable beds
Negative: Parts of the property were in a state of disrepair and would be totally unsafe had we had children with us. The decking and the stairs were not structurally sound, builders tools left lying around in the garden, hacksaw blades and Stanley knife blades left on deck. Lots of wood by the gate with nails sticking out, making it awkward to come in by foot. We have photos if required. Would have appreciated a small welcome pack as we arrived late and no shops were open.
Summary: Stunning location but unfortunately work needs to be completed on the property in order to make it safe.

Positive: The property was very convenient overall. We could walk minutes to the beach, literally 2 houses over, and could also walk to Foodland.
Negative: We were not permitted to leave the AC on during the day while we were out. So every time we came back from our excursions, we had to suffer with the heat and humidity for a good two hours before the house cooled down. Additionally, the lights in the dining area were not working, we reported it. The owner said they would fix it on Wednesday, but we were leaving on Wednesday so that was very disappointing. We had to cut our card games early because of the darkness. And our families is huge on playing cards at the dining table, we didn’t want to be rude and move the whole dining area into the living room.
Summary: It’s a great location if all you gonna do is sleep and hit the beach.

Positive: Staying here was an absolute highlight of our trip. The location was spectacular!! Gorgeous little beach right next door & a short walk to stunning Waimea Bay. Walking distance to coffee, groceries & food trucks. Very clean, air conditioning throughout, well appointed kitchen… this house had everything we needed!
Negative: Not much! As others had mentioned there were some slightly older/worn features in the house, but this didn’t really detract from our stay.
Summary: Loved this house so much that we didn’t want to leave!

Positive: The property has amazing views and is very peaceful and serene. It is a cute little sanctuary right in front of the ocean and away from the traffic of the main road. The hosts were accommodating in allowing our vendors to come to the property to get me ready for my wedding day. Parking on the property was convenient and easy to navigate.
Negative: The property is advertised as a three bedroom, though it is a two bedroom plus a little nook with a sliding door.. Facilities in bathroom are quite out dated and the main bedroom bath was dirty. The air con took quite a while to cool the entirety of the house as it was very stuffy in there. There weren't too many common food items like salt, pepper, coffee, sugar, etc. you have to buy everything yourself from Foodland.

Positive: The views out the deck were amazing. The sounds of the waves were serene. We were able to see surfers and did some whale watching right off the deck. It was an amazing experience. We were in walking distance to many beaches, shops, and the grocery store. We were pleased with our stay at the Waimea Bay Shoreline House. We will be back. Mahalo.
