Our guestroom has two queen beds, small desk w/chair, two comfortable chairs w/small table, TV, coffee maker, mini-refrigerator, microwave, alarm clock, bath, and air conditioning. The room is clean and comfortable. WI-FI is provided at no charge. The Inn is also located next to the outdoor seasonal pool which is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Only some rooms are pet friendly. Please call if you would like to bring your pet to check availability of pet friendly rooms. There is a $50 pet fee for the stay if your pet accompanies you. This is a lower level unit

Summary: We enjoyed our nice clean room with amenities like a coffee pot, microwave, frigerator, hair dryer. Bathroom was well sized and the place was very clean. Plenty of notification for checking instructions and very nice and professional people at check-in. Would say or recommend in the future!

Summary: The last night in staying here the building fire alarm went exactly at midnight. Others in the building were awaken and headed outside but some left so fast due to the alarm they forgot their room key(s). We did leave our room with a key but there seemed no one responding to the loud noise so a few of us called 911 and they were very hard to understand. The alarm went off and there was no fire apparently not a pleasant happen for all.

Summary: Stayed with my wife, kid and dog in one room, parents in another, and aunt and uncle in a third room. My uncle was able to pick up all our keys from management and hand them out at my cousin’s house, twenty minutes away, where we all met for dinner. We had a clean second-story room with a nice view of the pond and fountain, which I’m guessing is on 24/7–it was nice falling asleep to the rush of falling water, drifting in through the window—amenities were decent, though I kinda’ wish there’d been a laundry service or laundromat nearby. The pool looked clean and well organized, and is open until 10pm…we never got to actually hang out poolside, though, since we were running around all day. The Legend Inn is part of a larger resort premises, so we were a hop, skip and a step away from restaurants…which worked out on the evening we stayed in, since the nearest outsider restaurant is still kind of a haul. All in all, Michigan—and specifically, Shanty Creek, has me wanting to come back VERY soon and for a MUCH longer stay.
