Summary: This was a one bedroom basement apartment, so I did not have exaggerated expectations, but I did not expect to find a broken handle on the refrigerator, left over burned on eggs on the frying pan, a broken sliding door which not only allowed for a constant cold breeze, but also an easy entrance for thieves, a cold floor only warmed by two constantly running space heaters, and a constantly yapping dog which badly needed its nails cut. And by the way, FIOS sucks, and I should be able to run the microwave and watch Tv at the same time. Despite the issues, I was there for business, and spent only a few hours there each night before going to sleep. After being there for sometime, without any cleaning, which I had to pay for since the maximum time for each reservation is 28 days with a mandatory cleaning fee each time. I was there for 3 months and had to pay for cleaning each extension, I washed the provided sheets, only to find out that the sheets had stains, which were not from me, the mattress pad had stains, which were not from me, and the mattress cover had stains, which were not from me. I washed them all, probably for the first time. I also put the blanket on the bed to find that it had holes burned into it by cigarettes. At this point, I am just going to say this is a non-smoking, no pet, basement apartment with an equipped kitchen and access to tv. NOT.

Summary: The property was comfortable and adequate but is due for a facelift. It seemed like everything is tired. The space is great, as is the location, but it could have been cleaner, updated and had more creature comforts. Definitely bare bones. Very fair price for what we got.

Summary: I loved my stay— the place was quiet, spacious, and clean on arrival. There were dishes, plates and a couple of cooking utensils and items that were a nice, home-y addition for when I used the stove. I couldn’t get the washer to work but it wasn’t really an issue for me as I hand wash my clothes regularly. The dryer works perfectly well, as do the microwave and fridge. My only qualm was that there were initially some ants in the bedroom (that abated completely) and some ground beetles that were coming in from the patio area (and at one point a small skink that squeezed back outside). The area seems to be sprayed for them as they never made it far enough to bother any of my things. Overall, it was a negligible issue considering the space and privacy I got— it was everything I needed for my short getaway . Definitely would stay again. :)
