2 Bedroom House in Pan de Azucar, Atenas

Casa Veraneras is a beautiful property and it provides everything you will need to enjoy a perfect vacation in the best climate of the world.
The house is located in a small, peaceful and very nice gated community and has a very comfortable lay-out. The main section of the house consists of the kitchen, dining and seating/TV area. The sliding doors give access to the covered patio and the pool.
The 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms are located on opposite sides of the house ensuring privacy for the guests. Both rooms have doors that give access to the garden and pool area.
There is a laundry room with washer and dryer. The carport in front of the house is an ideal spot to park your car.
Just imagine starting your day with a tropical breakfast on the patio while enjoying the great views of the mountains.
The lovely little town of Atenas is only a short drive away and has a wide range of shops, supermarkets and restaurants. The Thursday afternoon farmers market is very popular. You can´t get any of the local products fresher than there.
Because of it´s central location you can discover everything this beautiful country has to offer. The airport is only 40 minutes away, the beaches an hour and it´s centrally located to the main attractions.
Our experienced property management team is ready to make your stay the best it can be. After booking they will reach out to you and during your stay they are always just a phone call away.
As an additional service to our house guests, they can arrange airport transfers, reliable car rentals and a variety of quality tours. They can arrange for you to have your fridge stocked with your favorite groceries upon arrival. For special occasions they can have a local chef come to the house to prepare a gourmet dinner. What to think of a relaxing massage at the property, it can all be arranged. After booking they will reach out to you to provide all the information you need.
In the house you will find a guest manual that gives you all the information that you need on the property, the town of Atenas (restaurants, shops, medical assistance) and the extra services offered to our guests.
The standard rate is based on 2 people. For every extra guest there is a $10 per person per night fee. Guests staying longer than 14 days a bi-weekly cleaning is included.

Summary: Beautiful house. Better supply of pans and utensils would be desirable(electric skillet). Better instructions for tv. Ice maker not working. Toaster not working. Good area for going to Beach attractions.

Summary: This property is fantastic. The house is large, clean, well-stocked and well maintained. The views from the wall of windows and the pool deck are can only be described as awesome. The drive up the mountain side to the residence is somewhat challenging but we got used to it. For those visiting Costa Rica for the first time should be aware that this house, like most, does not have air conditioning. We happened to spend time there when it was unseasonably warm, so the house got a bit stuffy but a quick dip in the pool made a big difference. Thank you Yvonne and Piet for your help.

Summary: We stayed a little over two weeks in this lovely pool house. Very nice kitchen and layout. Very close to Atenas which is a very authentic Costa Rican town. The house has terrific views and a great breeze. Plenty of toucans and aracaris and other tropical birds.

Summary: Beautiful house, pool and views. Super clean, nicely appointed, well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, huge showers. Gorgeous valley and mountain views We even had a family of Coati’s visit one morning, in a tree by the pool. 5 minutes from Atenas driving. Overall a great stay.

Summary: The first day was a little stressful due to the car rental we arranged with property manager, They promised it was going to be at the house, which it wasnt. By the time we did get the car, it was dark and because of the location of the house, we had to arrange taxi to follow and bring us to the house. They only had hand soap at the house so make sure you bring all your personal items you think you may need. As others have stated cooking untensils are also limited and there was no salt, pepper or sugar,or oil to cook with. And I was surprised there was no coffee provided either. So all in all its hard not to enjoy the area and scenery it provided. Its the little things that would bring back the guest.
