Summary: The only complaint we had was the noise of people hanging out in the hall and being loud and the beds were too hard for me. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was very clean.

Summary: This place is very nice but this is the second time we have shown up here and they tell us we have no reservation.We book on Hotels.com and stay different places 2 or 3 weekends a month with no problems, apparently this place hates hotels.com. After arguing with her and proving that we have reservations with confirmation numbers and screen shots from our phone when we booked it they miraculously found our room. WOW! The lady was completely rude and should be fired, what an embarrassment for Amaristar.

Summary: It was a beaufiful room. Very clean! Other guest were very friendly. I have 2 complaints the young lady who checked us in was very unpleasant. Not friendly at all acted like we had been there before, didn't offer any directon on anything. The other complaint is dining. We arrived at lunch time only one cafe open, we then went to the KC Chiefs game. Came back at 11pm and again only 1 choice. Other than that was nice.

Summary: The carpet in our room was digusting. Worn and stained, I wouldnt even take my shoes off. When the sheets were pulled back to go to bed there were water bottle caps from previous stay still on the floor. The lamp between the beds was covered in dust. Otherwise the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean so I do appreciate that. But carpet definitely needs replacement. We have stayed 3 times now and the hotel and casino are great, this was the worst room with stained carpet we have stayed in.

Summary: This was a fun place to stay. Great restaurants and friendly staff. The hotel and surrounding areas were clean and safe. We stayed on a Sunday evening so it wasn't as crowded as it might be during the weekend. We enjoyed the casino as well.

Summary: The hotel front desk gentleman was very nice and helpful. Upon entering our room it was pretty clean but there were a few areas that needed some extra attention. The trim and corners of the room need some love because it is an older more ornate style trim and it was coated in dust. If it would have been a smooth flat trim I am sure they wouldn't have this issue. There was also a few areas in the grout on the shower wall that appeared to have some buildup. The beds were clean and very comfortable though which for me was most important. The privacy in these rooms is not good at all. After coming up from the casino around 1:30am I could hear our neighbors loud and clear and almost wondered if the door in between our rooms was not secure. I checked to make sure it was locked and indeed it was but I could hear clearly their adult activities that were taking place. Thank goodness we didn't have anyone else with us on this trip or else I would of had to get my kids earplugs or take them out of the room. I understand adults do extra things in the privacy of their room but I don't want to hear it take place in my room. I don't know if it is because their is so much tile when you enter the front of the room and the sound was bouncing off of it but there needs to be better sound barriers between these rooms. Not to say I wouldn't stay again but it was very awkward and I am sure once we were up the next morning they then realized how much you can hear in the other room.
