2 Bedroom Cottage in Winterton-on-Sea

Amity House is located down a quiet road in Winterton village and backs onto the dunes. Minutes walk from local amenities including village shop, pub, tea rooms, post office and fish and chip shop.
Downstairs there is a cosy living room with wood burner, sofa and large TV. Behind this is a large, bright and airy kitchen diner with electric oven, gas hobs, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. The dining area opens up to the very large and fully enclosed garden. Off the kitchen there is a very handy utility room housing the washing machine and dryer. There is a shower room and WC off the utility room. Downstairs has underfloor heating throughout.
Upstairs there is a king size bedroom at the front of the property. This bedroom has a large en suite bathroom comprising of bath, separate walk-in shower, WC and basin. The back bedroom which overlooks the garden has two 3' single beds making this the perfect family holiday home.
Outside there is a large fully enclosed garden with seating. There is off-road parking for one car or further parking can be found on Old Chapel Road.
Amity House welcomes three dogs free of charge. An extra dog can be discussed with the owners. Please note for security reasons, CCTV covers the driveway to the property.

Summary: Loved Amity House and so did the dogs, the garden is lovely. The House is very well furnished and comfortable. The only criticism is it’s a bit expensive for 2 and if there were 4 people, one bedroom is en-suite and the other would have to use downstairs loo. Would definitely return.

Summary: Lovely break in a lovely house with lovely weather! Excellent location, in fact didn’t need to use the car for the whole week. Beautiful beach, although access is down a steep and deep sandy slope which might be tricky for some. We found that walking across the sand dunes there was a more level access further along. Saw a few seals which was a bonus! Tried the pub, Poppy’s tea room, seal watch beach cafe and the fish and chip shop and all were very good. The house was very well stocked although didn’t do much cooking! Fully enclosed garden for our 2 dogs. Very steep, carpeted staircase which demands taking care and attention whilst using.

Summary: Enjoyed a short stay at Amity House and had a fabulous short stay . Accomadation very clean and comfortable and a short walk to the beach. Would definitely recommend.

Summary: First time in Winterton and loved everything about it, the walks from the cottage on the dunes were amazing the dogs had a great time. Amity house is one of the best cottages we have stayed in very clean and comfortable with everything you need. Hursts farm shop is well worth a visit the fresh fish is very good. Would definitely recommend the fish and chip shop in the village. Will definitely be back next year and thank you for the welcome pack much appreciated.

Summary: First time staying at Amity. Parking is good for one car as its behinds property gates. (In the week we were there we would not have been able to park near the property). Everything we needed was provided. Our only negatives are the stairs are very steep and the bed not great.

Summary: Amity house had everything you could wish for. The furniture and fittings were very high spec. and it was very clean and comfortable. It was very handy for the local shop and chippy and had quick access to the dunes and the beach which made it perfect for our little dogs to enjoy as well as ourselves. The garden was fully enclosed and the off road parking behind secure gates was a bonus. It was a pleasure to stay in Amity House.

Summary: Fantastic property in a perfect location lost my wife last year and we always used to stay in this property as it was her favourite so glad I plucked up the courage to come back as I do love Winterton On Sea I will definitely come back hopefully next year

Summary: Amity House is a really lovely two bedroom cottage with everything you need for a short or long break. Dog friendly and secure off street parking which is a real bonus. High end fixtures and fittings and qualiity bedding and linen. One of the best self-catering places we have stayed in.
