Summary: READ FIRST! Awesome price for what you get, all things considered. The listing is a little misleading in terms of amenities. It really only sleeps 5 max, and that’s if you double up on the queen bed. There is no air conditioning in the master bedroom either. The WiFi has extremely poor signal so it’s basically worthless. There is also no washer & dryer. Everything is filthy, it’s like living in a frat house basically. Cockroaches, dead animal smell in the bathroom, dirty floors, etc. THE GOOD!: immediately located downtown. Standing on the balcony is awesome over looking the streets and hearing the noise of the night life while having a beer over the balcony is a great time. The sheets were clean, the hot water works in the shower, and you can almost always find parking right on the street outside. All in all, a good spot if you just want a place to rest at the end of the night, but by no means a comfortable environment. Still recommend though

Summary: If you are in to an older apt within Old San Juan, and do not feel the need for decent air conditioning, this might be acceptable for you. Definitely in a walkable entertainment and historical area. Of the three advertised portable A/C units, the one in back bedroom could not turn on making it in sleep able for my older sister. The from room is so large that the unit can’t really cool it. Host contacted upon discovery of not working unit. Housekeeper visited later but to no avail. More likely sleeping for four rather than six comfortably

Summary: If you want 5-star amenities, this is not for you. If you want clean accommodations in a local neighborhood at the center of the walking area, grab this place if you can. Two bedrooms, a small balcony overlooking tons of pedestrians. It has TV, AC, but who needs them with this location. I will look for this apartment for my next trip.

Summary: Perfect location to see all of the sites of old San Juan. Historic building is located within walking distance to everything you want to see and do. Keep in mind the age of the building and try to appreciate the historic beauty. Property manager was very friendly and communicated with us about any concerns we had. We never were able to figure out the Wi-Fi but it’s OK because we really wanted to unplug. If you are bougie and wanting to stay somewhere that is luxurious, this is not the place for you, but we loved it. There was a mixup when we arrived, and the unit had not been cleaned yet, but the housekeeper came right away and worked for hours to make sure everything was spotless for us, we really appreciated it. It is above a lively bar so it might not be for everyone but I think it added to the excitement of the trip.

Summary: This unit is in a fantastic location right on the main street. Great for people watching an easy walk to everything.! Some of the old previews talked about loud music going on we did not encounter that. In fact, TJ’s has been closed for a while now.. the beds were a little hard, but had plenty of pillows.

Summary: Tried to ignore other bad reviews, should have listened. Ended up cutting my losses and leaving after only one night. Furniture was worn and dirty, shower only had a very slow dribble, light fixtures hanging from walls, broken cabinets, with bedding straight out of my grandma's closet (old & threadworn). Doors did not close, front door lock sketchy at best. AC units very loud and didnt work well making sleep almost impossible. After dealing with marijuana smoke from either the neighbors or the bar downstairs, we had to leave as I'm allergic to it (not fault of rental owner). Poorest quality VRBO I have ever stayed in, doesn't meet even basic safety standards. If this sounds like a great place for you, enjoy it! If not, book a hotel, which is what we should have done in the first place.

Summary: GREAT LOCATION!!! If you want to see historic Old San Juan, hit the night life, and be within walking distance of EVERYTHING this is the place for you! The apartment is great for a couple or a girls/guys trip. The nightlife is hopping within seconds of the front door. Great restaurants and historic sights are also within seconds. Ingrid was great and accommodating, answered every phone call I made. I will definitely stay here again… as a matter of fact we are thinking of going back for the San Sebastián festival and we will be staying here if we can make it!

Summary: The price to stay matched the expectation of the property. I read through all the reviews before booking and wanted to give my input based on what others said and what I experienced. First off... the host is not fluent in English; the communication between the host and myself seemed to be them copying and pasting a translation from Google to communicate. I asked if we could check in early due to an early flight and requested details on a few things and the response was something along the lines of "welcome", I tried to ask again and I got another odd response that didn't quite make sense. This was not a damper on the stay, just an observation. The apartment was clean but it did seem to have an appearance of being run down - cracks in the walls, no real appliances, outlets hanging outside of walls, toilet seat not fastened down (slides everywhere on use). The location was fantastic and it was easily accessible. The advertisement states there was AC; however, there were only two portable units in the room (the one in the master room had the vent disconnected from the wall... It was very hot. The windows were the only thing that NEED to be addressed because... they were broken and left multiple fist-sized openings lol... I kid you not, we walked into the room and there was a cat in our room... it got in through the window hole... we like cats so no big deal but for those who are afraid or allergic, this may be huge.

Summary: It's a great location for visiting Old San Juan, but immediately above a rather loud bar. No A/C, but there are fans. The decor is very plain. Actually rented this for my son (large family wedding) but he found a separate place and didn't inform me until well after the cancellation deadline (Kids!). We did drop by to see the place, but no one stayed there overnight, so I can't comment much on the noise / comfort level. I didn't have any communications with the property manager, so my rating in that area is to be taken with a grain of salt... Vrbo doesn't allow me to leave it blank...
