Positive: Absolutely amazing stay for my first time. The location is exceptional for getting around on foot for a short stay. The spiral staircases could be hard for walking but mobility challenged individuals to go up and down. Close to everything in old San Juan. Quick response from host for any questions. Wonderful AC to stay cool. Very spacious. 10/10 would stay again!

Positive: It is convenient to everything in old San Juan. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well furnished. The kitchen has everything one needs. Coffee was provided next to the conveniently located coffee maker.
Negative: The stairs leading to the second floor are not lit, making the ascent and descent difficult at night. The spiral staircases from the kitchen/living room to the upstairs bedroom and bathroom, and to the roof were a bit inconvenient. The roof was hot.
Summary: A nice place to staying while enjoying Old San Juan for a few days or week.

Positive: The position was excellent, in Old San Juan. The apartment was quiet - given the position in a noisy area. We appreciated the bars and restaurants at walking distance. The rooftop terrace was very nice, although we did not use it very much. Communication with the host has been very good, we had quick answers to our questions and requests. The bed was very comfortable.
Negative: There is room for improvement in the kitchen, both in terms of quality and quantity of the appliances. It was more than sufficient for people having their meals outside, but not for who wanted to dine at home.

Positive: It was in such a great location! Right in the middle of Old San Juan, perfect for walkers! Peter and the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, accommodating, and I would absolutely look forward to staying with him again!

Positive: I enjoyed the location, property, and the walkable surroundings. The facility was impeccably clean and provided a comfortable stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, possibly one of the most comfortable I've experienced in either a hotel or vacation rental - and I've stayed at the Bellagio in Vegas. :) I've been to Old San Juan before and have family on the island, but it was my partner's first time and I wanted to be close to alot of the tourist spots. We used the parking garage, Ballajo Parking, as well and it was never more than $17 a night. It was a short walk from the apartment - maybe 5 minutes? I felt relatively safe walking around the area with my partner at night as well and my partner did a couple food runs on his own. If you haven't been to Old San Juan before, there is a bit of a police presence as well.
Negative: The noise level was a bit bothersome, but it's understandable considering there's a hacienda on the other side of the walls. Thankfully, the noise is mostly drowned out by the A/C. Additionally, my partner forgot to lock the roof access door, resulting in someone opening it, although they apologized and left promptly. It was unexpected but keep your doors locked, folks!
