Due to recent storms some beachfront properties beach access has become very unsafe, and we ask that they are not used! Please us the public beach access two houses along.

The second bedroom, located just off the main hallway, includes a cozy queen bed and natural light through garden-facing windows.

Great location for the two popular nearby wedding venues at The Old Forest school and Estuary events.

Summary: My Kids and I had the best stay at Lofty's for 5 days over the new year. It was a great typical Kiwi batch with all the basics needed to have a great break away. Board Games, books, amazing front and back decks to chill out on, and the beach was absolutely beautiful great swimming. Thankyou Beach Rentals for making my first book a batch nice and easy. We will definitely be back 😊

Summary: We had never stayed in a bach on the beach before, it was everything we hoped for. Clean, tidy, amazing views! We saw dolphins as the sun rose. The worst thing was leaving and going home! Thankyou Beach Rentals.

Summary: This property was great, had the feel of the old style bach and the location overlooking the sea was lovely. However although this was about the best price we could find in Pukehina, this is nearly three times what we paid 10years ago. Pukehina is no longer the affordable beach holiday it used to be. Most of the houses are residential now and the holiday feel has left the place. The pub is closed, and although someone is trying to make it work it is hard with the new demographic staying there. The beach is inaccessible from many beachside properties and is completely gone at high tide. A lot of the infrastucture such as the paths, tennis courts and bike track are just a bit run down. Finally, someone broke into my car during the night, although there has always been some element of this in Pukehina. For us the appeal has been lost and after 20years we are going somewhere else for our January holiday.

Summary: Lovely place on the beach, kids absolutely loved it. Quiet, and woke up to beautiful views every morning. Everything we needed readily available☺️ Warm and comfortable. Local fish n chips were the bomb! Not to far from Tauranga or the Mt. Would absolutely go back again.

Summary: The property was good, with comfortable chairs and beds and a well equipped kitchen. It would have been nice to have had the windows cleaned outside. There was a lot of salt spray on them which we could have cleaned off if we had a hose. The dining table and bedside table had sticky patches on them, which we wiped off easily. Kitchen, floors and bathroom all very clean and tidy. The website listing and communications need editing to state that linen is in fact provided, contrary to what I expected from the description when booking. It was good to have plenty of spare blankets, a bonus, as the nights were chilly. The mezzanine floor is definitely not suitable for children younger than about 10 to sleep in. Overall, we had a very comfortable, enjoyable stay and would happily stay there again. Loved the ocean view.

Summary: A good property but does need some maintenance - stairs need to be repaired. Rear Terrance needs some maintenance as well. Outside shower great - with hot and cold but the tree growing through it needs to be removed. Some cockroach baits would be good. Despite all of the issues mentioned we enjoyed the place
