This beachfront house boasts beachfront decking right on the top of the sand dune. Your own private access to the beach with a path directly off the front of the property.
So much to do and discover in our unique beach township with our crystal clear and clean waters famous for its fishing & diving, gathering Tuatua at low tide, floundering from the estuary & white baiting in season. Beautiful walks along the beach, parks and reserves, abundant in wildlife with spectacular views across to Motiti & White Island or across the estuary to Little Waihi.
Pukehina Beach is one of the classic kiwi beaches - you unpack, walk the beach, have BBQ'S and enjoy making memories with your loved ones.
Centrally located, it’s just a 15 min drive to Te Puke (past the golf club), 30 mins to Mt. Maunganui & Tauranga (toll road), or 40 mins to Rotorua & Whakatane - all along excellent roads. If you need to refuel the boat, a BP is only 5 minutes away.
A great location to do some exploring around the local region. Located 30 minutes from Mount Maunganui, 45km from Tauranga or a 2-hour drive from Hamilton not far to travel for a weekend getaway. We are also not far from the Old Forest School, and the local Estuary Events wedding venues.
Please bring your own beach towels - all other linen is provided.

The local dairy( directly across the road) has some supplies with great fish n chips if you feel like taking a night off from cooking.

Summary: My now husband and I stayed here in the lead up to our wedding at Old Forest School. It was the perfect place to relax before the big day. The beach is literally on your doorstep, with an amazing view from the kitchen. The place is calming, clean and beautifully set up. We will definitely be back in the future!

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful piece of paradise! The bach was amazing - well appointed with everything we needed (and more!) and the location was stunning! Total rest and relaxation! Great communication and straight-forward check-in/check out processes. We would definitely love to book this bach again in the future!

Summary: This home was amazing. I thought the photos were amazing but in person, it was breath taking. The veiws were amazing. The home was very clean and tidy. The house had everything you needed from cooking too laundry and entertaining. The beach was literally a step away from the house. The kitchen window which opens out straight to the beach was my favorite. Loved cooking while this was opened and feeling the sea breeze and hearing the waves. The bed was extremely comfortable and the sheets were fresh and crisp. The air conditioner was a goodie for extra comfort. The WiFi was really good. We had no problem with it and it had a good connection. The Pukehina shop and takeaways is located right across the road from the home so if you need essentials items or some yummy fish n chips, it's all there which makes it handy. There is an amazing entertaining area outside which is half covered but you can open the slider doors too let the sea breeze in. Bbq, dinning area, plenty of seating and beautiful plants. Spent most of my 2 days out there. Very relaxing home. I will definitely be booking this home again in a couple of months. Loved the extra personal touches to the home. The decor was beautifully done. Overall experience. 10/10 Thank you so much for opening your home to others to enjoy and thank you Jody and the team at Pukehina. You always make our experiences amazing.

Summary: We stayed in this lovely home for a couple of weeks over the holidays and absolutely loved it. We loved the covered outdoor space so we could sit and watch the waves all day.
