1 Bedroom Cottage in Bakewell

A lovely mid terrace stone cottage with wood burner in a quiet location. Very close to Bakewell town centre and ideally positioned for visiting the attractions of the Peak District National Park. There is off road parking for a small to medium sized family car to the front of the property, eg VW Golf. Also a beautiful small garden to sit in and enjoy a large glass of wine. We accept short breaks as well as 7 night breaks, but sorry, no pets and no smoking. Summary: Beautiful and cosy cottage. In walking distance into Bakewell. Spotlessly clean. Everything you need and bed was so comfy. Would definitely recommend.

Summary: The parking at the property is challenging and I was glad I had a mini and not in my previous saloon BMW! We spent ages trying to unlock the wrong key safe at the property. Thank goodness we arrived at dusk and not in the dark. We wanted to make filter coffee but there wasn’t any. We wanted to light a fire but no kindling or logs. The bathroom is very cold but we were warm in the rest of the house. Very close to the centre of Bakewell which was great.

Summary: Lovely cottage with everything you could need. In a nice quiet location with parking and so close to all shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay again, hopefully in warmer weather so get to use the garden.

Summary: We loved our stay at Peveril Cottage – it’s quaint, cosy, clean & a stone’s throw from everything in Bakewell. Check in/check out instructions were easy to understand & communication with the host was quick & easy. The parking space is an amazing bonus, as parking is hard to find in Bakewell, especially at busy times. We’ll be back!
