Summary: The cottage is lovely and cosy, very well equipped and the kitchen/dinning area is a very sociable space. There were a few little things missing which were needed like wood burner tools and speaker but we have fed this back to the owners. The breakfast at The Old Pudding Shop was fabulous and the staff were very attentive and friendly. We would definitely return.

Summary: This is a fabulously located, well-appointed and equipped cottage 5 minutes walk from the centre of Bakewell. The staff in the Pudding Shop who checked us in were fabulously helpful and informative. The staff in the Pudding Shop restaurant also were very attentive, kind and helpful and the fact that breakfast was included in the rental was very welcome!! Even the dog had a sausage and a drink every day. We would recommend this rental for anyone wishing to explore the Peak District and explore the local trail walks literally from your doorstep, staying in a home from home.
