Summary: Hotel was in the perfect location. It was close to shopping and dining while being surrounded by the mountains for the most perfect backdrop. My husband and son was hoping to rent an e-bike while on vacation and having bike rental on site couldn’t have worked out better. Hotel has been completely renovated and is beautiful. Every employee we came across was quick to answer any questions we had. We would definitely recommend.

Summary: We booked for 3 nights. First night our room was hot and stuffy- temperature was 27C, when I raised this staff said it’s central climate control & heating comes on when outside temp is below 18C - nothing can be done apart from supply fans & open windows (room facing a busy noisy road) so we had no sleep. We changed rooms the next day to face a quieter side of building but somehow the air conditioning was now working at 20C and outside temp was below 18C? Room was dusty & not cleaned properly as skirting boards were covered in dust. I know it’s only 3 star hotel but I would expect room to be cleaned properly.

Summary: Great location! Close to hearing you'll need to enjoy Banff. The underground parking was easily accessible and felt safe. The hotel staff and amenities were great. The only complaint we have is that our AC somehow stopped working half way through our stay and the room was getting very warm. We just cracked our balcony door opened and it solved the problem. I'm not sure if it'll be harder to tolerate on hotter days, but it was fine for us. I'll still recommend this hotel and would use it again.

Summary: We had one of the Lodge Suites so we had a lot of space for just two people. A little surprised when we got there at 8.30pm that a function had taken over the only open restaurant in the hotel (meaning we had to go out to get dinner after a long flight across the Atlantic) and also that the buffet breakfast would only be available on the first day as the restaurant would then be refurbished. Advance warning would have been nice. But location is great between the town centre and the Bow River. Rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. And the A La Carte breakfast in La Terrazza restaurant while the buffet area is refurbished is really good. Overall a very enjoyable stay.
