Positive: The best part of this resort are the common areas. The many cabanas, tables and chairs, bbq grills with tools available, the many eclectic art pieces and installations make this a truly fun and relaxing destination. Located directly on the beach behind the dunes, we had easy access to a part of the beach that seemed to be private to just us. We are located down the way from the main activity areas so we could easily go to where the action is, if we wanted to. The local city bus stop is just yards away and for 75 cents we took the ride all the way to the cruise port to have some brunch at Grills while watching the activity in the port. We also saw a night launch the night that we arrived and a mid-morning launch two days later. Our room, number 8, a two bedroom/one bath unit was spacious and the kitchen was well equipped.
Negative: Our only concern, which echoes what others have stated in their reviews, was the noise of the air conditioning system. Even though it was a 'central air' system rather than window unites, the droning of the system was VERY noticeable. The water pressure in the shower was a bit on the low side, but the water was hot very quickly.

Negative: Toilet kept backing up into shower so had to pack up and move rooms. 2nd room was good.

Positive: The two bedroom apartment was extremely comfortable. The many amenities, outdoor recreational area and how close it is to the beach, were great. We enjoyed the fire-pit at night and the hammocks during the day. Would stay here again!
