Summary: A flat that felt more like a home away from home, superbly decorated and in Ipanema's prime spot! With most the appliances you would have in your house, the apartment felt cosy. Swift communication and the building doormen were particularly helpful and cortious.

Summary: Very noisy area, also you can hear the people from the next apartment very loudly. The decoration is very dark. There’s no microwave. The host is not in town, but she was very accommodating and responded timely. The AC is a mini split in the bedroom. There no AC in the kitchen-living room area.

Summary: Fully equipped apartment! Secure building with a doorman at all times. Surrounded by great restaurants, many shops and a very short walk to Ipanema beach. And Barbara, our host was very helpful, quick to reply to questions and welcoming! Price was great, book this if it’s available!

Summary: Barbara’s place is an excellent Vrbo!! It is welll equipped and adorably decorated! The bathroom is large enough to be comfortable and the place sleeps 4 adults easily. The location is stellar and even though it’s in the heart of Ipanema, the apt itself is very quiet. I would highly recommend!!

Summary: This lovely apartment is fully - and beautifully - furnished, with everything one needs for a one-month visit. After a month one becomes very comfortable and familiar with all the amenities, and I enjoyed them very much. I cooked at home every day; not once did I dine in a restaurant of any kind. I felt right at home, and the owner had a lot to do with that. She is very responsive, and clearly wants her guests to feel at home. I was so impressed that I'm planning a much longer stay. I enjoyed it that much. The building staff are wonderful, the neighbors friendly and helpful, and the space a wonderful refuge. I can wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone who wants to enjoy all that Ipnema has to offer, and that's a lot! Excellent, comfortable, and charming.

Summary: First, the host is very responsive, helpful, and accommodating - a pleasure to work with. The Apartment itself is cozy and comfortable. Kitchen is fully equipped and is a shared space with the living room, which has a TV and sofa as well as a small dining table. The bedroom is separate with a new A/C and another TV. The apartment could not be located better - A+++. It is in the heart of Ipanema on the main street. Everything is close - Supermarket is a 2 minute walk, as well as a smaller convenience store across the street. Tons of restaurants and shops nearby. The subway station is only one block away. The shopping center in Leblon is also within walking distance. I was worried about noise a little bit when I booked this apartment with it being on the main street, but this was not an issue as the bedroom is facing the side street. Also the busy streets of Ipanema get quiet at night since it is a large residential area. Perfect apartment in a perfect place!

Summary: It would be difficult to improve on this perfectly located apartment even at three times the price. Two blocks from Ipanema beach. 1 block from the Metro and a half block to a great supermarket. And a ton of casual restaurants. Photos don’t do the huge windows justice as you are surrounded in trees, and the host has thought of everything you could need. All in a fun style. And when my plans moved up three weeks, the host made it effortless for me to change my dates. A+ on every level.
