Summary: We had an amazing vacation to Rio! Stephen’s apartment on the beach was perfect. The beach access and views of Rio were exactly like the pictures. And the two bedrooms and two bathrooms made the stay very comfortable for our entire family. Stephen’s apartment is also in a neighborhood where we could easily access the grocery store and fun shopping and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again when we have another opportunity to visit Rio!

Summary: I highly recommend this place. My family and I had a great time staying at Steve's place. The apartment was nicely decorated and located in a main street of Ipanema with a beautiful beach view. As a host, Steve was very kind and understanding to handle delays in our arrival. We will stay there again.

Summary: We had a wonderful week at Steve’s apartment in Ipanema. It is in a safe location close to everything: grocery stores, awesome restaurants and of course a beautiful beach. 24hr security who were always attentive and ready to help. We are in love with Rio and would definitely stay again at his place.

Summary: The condo is perfectly situated on Ipanema beach. It has truly stunning views that exceeded my expectations. Whether it’s sunrise, sunset, or just during the day, you will feel like you are somewhere special, even if you just stay in and look out from the balcony or living room. The place was very clean. Beds and bedding were comfortable. Showers had good water pressure. The daily maid service was very nice. The wifi was very fast. The beach, stores, restaurants, etc, everything we needed was close by and very convenient. The host was friendly and helpful too. Our family had a great time staying here and would stay again without hesitation!

Summary: I took my family to tour Rio and see Taylor Swift. Steve (the property owner) went above and beyond and our trip was amazing. He answered all my questions and even organized a private driver for the concert. He is a great host and his property location is the best in Rio! Highly recommend!!

Summary: 3 adult family members and I stayed for one week at Steve's place and it was in every respect phenomenal. The building is impeccable with a gorgeous rooftop pool. The apartment is spacious with an enormous terrace floating 9 floors above the beach and with an unobstructed view of Two Brothers mountains at the far end of the beach. I felt like being in Steve's apartment was the best view in town! Steve as a host was attentive and always available via phone or text/email. He made sure we had the perfect family stay. I would definitely recommned this VRBO without hesitation!!

Summary: If you're looking at the upper echelon of properties to stay in on the beach in Ipanema, look no further, this IS the place! I looked at places for months and finally settled on Steve's apartment. It is phenomenal! It's directly across the street from the beach between Posto 9 and 10, slightly closer to Posto 10. This is the best part of Ipanema! The area is very safe. You can walk to tons of great restaurants with 5 to 10 minutes. There is also a beach club right across the street for beach fun and great music. The building is very safe with excellent security guards 24hrs. Particularly appreciated the guard Alejandro, he was great! Communication with Steve was excellent. Easy and smooth check in. The apartment itself is even better than it looks in the photos. Very spacious and comfortable. Great air conditioning if you need it. There is daily cleaning service that knows to come in after you leave the apartment. He provides towels and linen for you. You don't need to bring anything with you (except for face cloths for showering which apparently are not part of Portuguese culture). Importantly he has multiple 110 power outlets so you don't need convertors if you are coming from the US or Canada! The apartment could not have been better and worth every dime. Would give my highest recommendation without reservation to rent Steve's apartment for a fun and safe trip to Rio. Will come right back here next time I'm in Rio.

Summary: I can't say enough nice things about this apartment. Location and view are amazing. Steve, our host, was very responsive and friendly. Comfortable beds, great showers, fast wi-fi...and 100 foot walk to the beach! Our daily staff service was always friendly and so helpful. 24 hour reception desk so there's always someone available to assist...and free parking which is huge in Rio. 100 restaurants within a 10 block radius...for us, it was the perfect spot for our month long stay in Rio. We'll be back!
