There are lots of activities right on premises. Try your luck at fishing (catch & release/fishing poles provided), take a lovely stroll around the lake and take in the scenery including a babbling creek and waterfall, play some tennis or take a dip in the large community swimming pool or hot tub. Gas barbeque grills are located throughout the facility as well.
There are many options if you’d like to venture out and take in the sights and sounds of Phoenix. This central location makes it easy to take in all that Arizona has to offer! Immediate neighborhood has many restaurants to choose from including: Pappadeaux Seafood, Olive Garden, Bobby-Q's (voted best barbeque in the US), Garcia’s authentic Mexican, Red Lobster, Lone Star Steakhouse, Outback Steakhouse, Black Angus, Chili's, plus many more. Summary: This was our second time here and everything was as comfortable and lovely as we remember it! Having the pond outside was such a nice touch and we spent many mornings and evening on the porch. We had one small issue and it was resolved quickly. Would (will) 100% stay here again if we are in the Phoenix/Glendale area.

Summary: This condo, Desert Shores #218, is very well furnished and comfortable. The condo's proximity to I17 makes it easy to get anywhere in the area, and restaurants and shops are nearby. We enjoyed our daily walks around the lake, and sitting on the screened porch watching the variety of waterbirds. All in all we had a nice time here during the month of February..

Summary: This property was given extreme thought in taking care of their guest. Every area was well covered. We've stayed in countless condos over last 20 years and this was one of best supplied we stayed in. Communication with Sheri was excellent and she showed much interest in our being taken care of. I think Sheri should write a manual for other condo host. Well done Sheri.

Summary: I choose this place based on the reviews and it did not disappoint! Very spacious, comfortable, and updated. The view was fantastic. The condo had everything we needed. The location was easy access to the freeway. The only thing that could be improved is more attention to cleaning the balcony which was full of cobwebs and debris.

Summary: The condo was beautiful and very clean. The bed was very comfortable, the complex was clean, quiet and safe. The kitchen was stocked with a nice supply of dishes, glasses, cookware, spices, coffee and coffee maker. Having the Brita water filter pitcher was a nice surprise. Communication with the host was excellent. The living space was roomy enough to have family over for a meal and play board games. The pool was very nice. The hot tub hot. I really enjoyed the beauty of the lake and the safe walking path all around the lake. The price was fair and I would stay here again and recommend it to others. I was really comfortable here.

Summary: Loved this property. Very clean and quiet. The lake was very nice to sit by in the evenings with a spectacular view of the sunset. We were in town to move our daughter into GCU and this was a very convenient location. Plenty of restaurants off of Peoria St and also close to I-17. Would definitely stay here again!
