Magical cottage nestled in the heart of wine country and surrounded by lush gardens on the private, gated estate of Gracewood Farm. Previous guest reviews: "divine find", "truly unforgettable", "sheer perfection", and "slice of paradise". Tucked away amidst the spectacular vineyards of the Santa Ynez Valley, this special retreat offers easy access to the wine tasting hub of Los Olivos and the historic township of Santa Ynez. The world renowned Danish village of Solvang is just a couple of miles away as is the Old West town of Los Alamos. Relax and enjoy the multiple award winning wineries in the area. Not suitable for pets/children. No check in after 7pm.
Encircled by colorful landscaping, Rose Cottage at Gracewood Farm, is a separate, very private, 1100 square foot house. Rose Cottage is 500 feet from the main house and sits near the front of the property. Parking is directly in front of Rose Cottage and you will be given your own gate code to access the property at your convenience. Enjoy a tastefully decorated interior, plush linens, private patio with outdoor sitting, and BBQ. A complimentary bottle of local wine and welcome basket are also included.
For your added safety, there is a security camera located in the front gate keypad.
Rose Cottage sits approximately 150 feet beyond the property entrance gate and the keypad.

Summary: Over the past decade or more, we have stayed at many Vrbo‘s. But this is on the one of the best we’ve ever stayed at. It is a lovely, well appointed home in a beautiful garden setting. Summary: Rose Cottage is perfection, do not hesitate to book your stay. The hosts are so kind and helpful. The special touches and amenities for the guests (fresh baked goods, milk, fresh fruit, snacks, bottled water, perfume) were so helpful! The garden is beautiful, was hard to leave each morning and we could not wait to come back in the evening. The flowers, the hummingbirds, the bunnies…they were such a joy to sit and read and watch. The location of the cottage is so convenient to Santa Ynext, Los Olivos and Solvang. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and will definitely be back.

Summary: We really enjoyed this trip. The property was close to all the vineyards. The cottage was clean and had everything we could want. A bonus was the goodies that Vicki left for us. The gardens were beautiful. Just sorry that we couldn't spend more time there.
