2 Bedroom House in Santa Ynez, Solvang

We are Ideally located within the Santa Ynez/Solvang/Los Olivos area. A roughly 1200 sq ft guesthouse that can sleep up to 5 adults comfortably: Fast wifi internet and cable. A wonderful space for families or friends wanting a clean relaxing creative space near wineries and local towns. We place age appropriate toys in the guesthouse such as electric cars , pretend play kitchen and grocery store, stuffed animals, trainsets, etc.
There are two bedrooms with queen size beds and one twin xl day bed. in the large liivng room. We also have a full size crib for the 2 and younger guests and a full size toddler bed for the 2 to 6 year old guests.
We provide eggs , milk, bread, coffee, tea, juice and seasonal organic fruit from our garden for your meals. The space is arranged to provide our guests (families, couples, & friends) a wonderful experience that is memorable.
There is a large living room that has been decorated to provide a restorative environment with comfy furniture, a large TV with cable, a dinner table that has seating for 6. There is a well appointed kitchen, with pots, pans, plates, to commonly used cooking items such as cooking oil, spices, and breakfast items. There is a washer and dryer for use. The bedrooms are furnished with luxury linens. An immaculate clean home. We maintain a high standard regarding providing a clean home with a spotless bathroom that is supplied with toiletries. The guests' area has its own private patio space if guests want privacy away from the shared meditation garden. The private patio area has a gas grill for BBQ; and there is also a casual outdoor dining area. Fantastic space to view the night sky infused with stars. No light pollution, so if there isn't any cloud cover, this area is wonderful for viewing stars. There is plenty of room for children to play within the home, the private patio area, and in the meditation garden. We encourage guests to engage in chalk art on the concrete floors in the patio area. A relaxing activity for both young and old. We provide lots of toys, games. and crafts for children, an indoor tent with panda sleeping bags; and we even have an electric car (10 and younger) for children to tootle around the property. The highlight for most of our guests would be the garden, to read, relax, have a glass of wine.
There is a large driveway so we allow our guests up to three cars to park in our driveway while staying at the home. Exceptional Wifi quality (not easily found in the valley ) is via speedy cable.
If you are a young family with an infant, we have a pack and play with linens, a stroller, baby bath, high chair, play items. We encourage young children to engage in crafts, board games, and chalk art on the driveway or patio area. If you are a group of girlfriends or couples, we provide adult board games, and we encourage you to enjoy wine and meals in the garden and engage in chalk art in the patio area.
We have lots of suggestions for places to visit, wineries to consider, places to eat, areas to hike, bike, and swim. There is also plenty of space for storing any large items during your stay such as bikes. Cyclists may use the garage to store bikes, stands, and other equipment and to use the garage as a work space.
If you are coming into the area for bike riding, we can suggest many local trails. If you are coming into the area for wine tasting, we can make suggestions for boutique wine venues. If you are coming for a friend or family member's wedding, then we are very likely located near the wedding venue. We have been told by nearly all of our guests how central we are to everything in the Santa Ynez valley.
Our focus and goal is to support you in having a wonderful restorative time while visiting our fantastic Santa Ynez Valley.

Summary: A lovely cottage that was very clean and offered plenty of space for me, my husband and daughter. We loved the hospitality of the hosts and the extras such as: coffee, tea, milk, bottles of water, fresh eggs, fresh fruit from their garden.The hosts greeted us with a nice massage posted on the fridge when we arrived. We enjoyed being away from the city. Very quiet, stunning views throughout the property. We honestly want to come back again.

Summary: Lovely cottage home that was very clean and provided 4 adults plenty of space. We loved the hosts hospitality and extras such as: coffee, milk, fresh eggs, fresh fruit. Summary: Great home base for exploring the area. Many nice touches, especially the stocked refrigerator with everything you need for a nice breakfast (small kitchen but plenty of space for dining). Everything spotlessly clean, very comfy bedding, helpful hosts.

Summary: Visiting the Santa Ynez Valley for the first time, our family couldn’t have asked for a lovelier place to stay. Bev and Peter were the most welcoming and generous hosts. The accommodations were very comfortable with nice touches, like toys and games for kids, salon quality bath items and a stocked kitchen, including fresh eggs from their hens. Our daughter loved hanging out with the chickens, who know their names. And their garden is truly an oasis, filled with succulents, fruit trees and tranquil seating areas. They even shared some cuttings for us to plant in our own garden. In all ways, it was a great experience and we hope to be back soon!

Summary: The cottage is perfect for a small group -- comfortable beds, plenty of space to spread out, a big enough kitchen to cook and all the kitchen equipment you could need. Nice touch of tea, coffee, fresh eggs, milk and even fresh fruit from the property. The location can't be beat for access to everything in the Santa Ynez valley. Highly recommend!

Summary: Beautiful home in a lovely neighborhood very close to Solvang. Hosts were great and we got to meet the household chickens that provided us breakfast! I would absolutely stay here again the next time we visit friends in the area.

Summary: All of the 5/5 reviews I saw prior to booking were completely accurate! Peter and Bev were excellent hosts - very kind and accommodating. I had mentioned it was for a birthday and they had a bday sign, balloon and fresh roses waiting for us when we checked in. The cottage was cute and nicely appointed (the furnishings and bathroom even looked more updated than in the pics online). They had stocked the fridge with juice, milk, cream, oat milk, jam, honey, english muffins, fresh fruit from their trees and a dozen fresh eggs from their chickens. Enough for 3 adults for 2 full breakfasts and some to spare! Bev greeted us and handed off fresh figs she had just picked from her tree. The day we arrived the temp had just cooled down 30 degrees from the prior day so Peter came in and made sure the heaters were working as the early morning forecast was a chilly 35 degrees. The garden was lovely and the chicken were fun to feed and interact with. All in all it was a great stay - we couldn't have asked for a better weekend. I would highly recommend this cute spot (very convenient to Solvang, Los Olivos and wine tasting areas too!). I would stay here again!

Summary: My older son and i stayed foe the weekend while visiting family and friends. We would highly recommend Peter and Bev. There hospitality and cottage was just as described. Family friendly, kid friendly with lots of amenities. Fridge was stocked with eggs, milk and juice upon arrival. We will stay here again.
