Enjoy your own private residence set on 10 acres centrally located to all of the Valley's finest restaurants, wineries and activities in this 2 bedroom 1 bath casita. Serene country setting set among horse ranches with striking mountain views, and yet just 1/2 mile from downtown Santa Ynez.! Country in the "city" -- the perfect location.
We are 3 miles from Los Olivos and 4 miles from Solvang.
All the comforts of home await you in this Spanish-style home complete with plaster walls, vaulted ceilings and terra cotta tile. It is completely private and separate from the main house where the owners reside with their 2 beloved dogs who are fenced in their own private yard.
The great room features a large picture window affording spectacular views of the property, a large gas fireplace with hearth and numerous windows to enjoy the beautifully landscaped grounds. There is a 43" Smart TV with Netflix and Prime Video, DirecTV service and a DVD player with a wide assortment of DVD's. High speed WiFi recently added. A secretary desk is the perfect place for your computer work.
The primary bedroom has a very comfortable King size bed to guarantee a wonderful night's sleep. Windows on either side of the bedroom provide views of the beautiful landscape. The second bedroom offers 2 twin beds which can be separated or combined to form one King size bed.
A fully stocked kitchen offers everything for the most industrious cook. Grind your coffee beans and enjoy a cup of coffee on the front porch or on the back patio. Full spice rack and cooking oils make it easy to prepare dinner at home.
Dining for 4 in adjacent breakfast area.
A lovely patio includes a table for 4, additional seating and an outdoor grill. Your covered carport houses a sports locker of sports equipment and a basketball hoop sits across the driveway.
This is the perfect getaway for families and couples.

Summary: Extremely nice and gracious hosts, great casita, and beautiful and private property. Quiet neighborhood with the small town a very pleasant 1 mile walk down lightly traveled roads. Would definitely stay here again.

Summary: We can't say enough about how wonderful our weekend at the casita in Santa Ynez was! Our hosts were warm, welcoming, helpful, and accommodating. The casita and surroundings were just as expected, in fact the photos don't do justice. We are already looking at our calendar to book another stay!

Summary: We had the best stay. The check in was simple and this place is absolutely beautiful. The home was decorated so beautifully. The beds were super comfortable and the bedding was top notch and that’s coming from a bedding snob. Everything was convenient and we were close to everything we could possibly need.

Summary: The casita was perfect. Beautiful decor, comfortable furnishings. Quiet neighborhood and a beautiful property. It was wonderful to wake up to the sun coming over the mountains with the birds singing and the cows and horses surrounding the property. The owners were warm and welcoming and we really enjoyed the homemade bread they left for us as well as the snacks in the kitchen. We loved the beautiful fireplace as well. So relaxing! We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay with our two dogs over the New Year's holiday. Jeanne and Leo were great hosts and were friendly and welcoming. Their property has a great location and everything we needed--it was just about perfect for us (absolutely the ONLY thing that was missing was a fenced in yard for the dogs), but they had plenty of room to run around and the property was well back from the street, so it wasn't an issue. We've already booked a return trip since we enjoy the area so much, and this property really does fit our needs so well. We're already looking forward to being back up there later in the year!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect and quiet for our Christmas get away! The hosts even decorated the casita for Christmas and left us apple cinnamon bread which we found to be very special. The fireplace was a nice touch and we loved having it on for the evenings. Overall, minus the ocassional dust bunnies...the stay was just what we needed.Thank you for having us!:)

Summary: This was the perfect place for a quiet stay after a busy holiday. It was our family of 4 and our Goldendoodle. There was plenty of room in the casita and tons of space for our dog to play outside. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The casita is in a great location. It has a full kitchen with everything you would need but it is a quick drive to restaurants, shopping and wine tasting if you feel like going out. Everything was very clean and the hosts were welcoming.

Summary: This was the second stay this year for my wife and I with our Frenchie, and like our first stay, it was worth every penny. We were welcomed with a little welcome note and congratulations balloon for our nuptials which was very sweet. As well as another delicious sweet bread.The property is very peaceful and quiet, and you can see lots of stars on a clear night. The casita was very clean and welcoming as usual, with plenty of extra blankets and towels if you need them. The water pressure in the shower was also amazing. The town is a short few minute drive with plenty of delicious restaurants. I personally highly recommend Dos Carlitos (great food and large portions).In short, we love this place as well as Jeanne and Leo’s hospitality and dog friendly property. We will definitely return for a third time in the future. Thank you again Jeanne and Leo! Look forward to our future visit
