Located on the Norris Lake shoreline of prestigious Lakeside Estates, this luxury cabin has 4 decks overlooking your private dock. The dock has a large swim platform w/ ladder. Bring your boats and park in the two covered slips measure 10’ x 22’ and room for 2 more boats on the outside. This dock does not provide electricity. No boat? No worries! Simply call NorrisLakeWaterSports (ask for ‘10% Bertke discount’) or OasisNorrisLake. Both deliver right to your dock. Nearby Sugar Hollow marina, Shanghai Resort, and Springs Dock offer daily/weekly boat rentals. Due to liability reasons, we cannot provide flotation devices.
Enter the cabin main level to see oak floors, knotty pine walls & ceiling. The great room provides plenty of space to gather with friends and family. The equipped deck has a propane grill overlooking the lake (free propane).
The fully equipped luxury kitchen is open to the large dining room with table. The loaded kitchen features granite, dish washer, coffee maker, blender, toaster, serving trays, pots/pans, dishes, cutlery service for 20 people.
*The main level also has a master suite with private bathroom.
Lower Level has a recreation room providing pool table, huge TV, spare refrigerator, and extra games. The utility room contains a convenient washer & dryer. The lower level deck with bistro table and lounge chairs, makes a fantastic reading room. The hot tub deck is ideal to end the long days. NOTE: the water is changed prior to your arrival. The Sun Deck is built right on the shoreline providing an ideal location to watch over the swimmers.
This cabin is located right around the corner from the famous "Jumping Bridge" where all the boaters love to simply hang out, swim in the clean water, and get the nerve to take a plunge off the bridge.

This neighborhood has a small, free, community pool with kiddie pool 1/3 mile from the cabin up a very steep street. It is clean but nothing fancy. There are no lifeguards or concessions. You don't need a pass. Free parking is available.
Our convenient boat ramp is located inside our neighborhood 1/3 mile from the home. There is parking for approximately 5 vehicles directly in front of the home. Trailers and extra vehicles are parked in the designated trailer parking area inside our neighborhood.

Summary: Outside lights didn’t work and some of the tv’s when we arrived. We reported it immediately and was fixed the next day with new outside lights and three new tv’s the location was perfect had a really great week highly recommend

Summary: Overall everything about the property was great. If you bring a boat the trailer parking/launch is a bit cumbersome, study the aerial views but keep in mind you’re on a mountain! Can’t wait to get back!

Summary: Overall our family enjoyed our stay. Upon arriving we had to do some cleaning as it seemed the cleaners forgot to sweep/vacuum. The house itself was great for our family of 13. The only major complaint we had is the lack of lighting. As many steps as there is to the dock there is zero lighting on the steps. Also think it’s time to update a bed/mattress in one of the rooms as it was very uncomfortable and rolled into the center.

Summary: Beautiful setting and very quiet around the lake. The dock was a plus, as you can rent a boat and have it delivered. Overall the house is nice and we enjoyed our relaxing stay. There were a few MINOR maintenance issues during our stay, but nothing serious that caused any major inconveniences to the extent we felt a need to contact the owner. Upon on our arrival at least 4-6 overhead lights to the basement stairs and in several basement rooms were burned out. There were also dead bugs in many of the overhead light fixtures. The bulbs could have just burned out recently but the dead bugs in the light globes were clearly visible and had been there a while. One globe fixture above the tv area contained around 50 dried out ladybugs ( I was just glad they weren't something else, but I had never seen that many lady bugs and have no idea how they got inside the fixture). We arrived as it was getting dark and without the lights it was very hard to see in the basement and one of our group was staying in the lower bedroom so we needed lights down there. We just bought some light bulbs at the store up the street and I cleaned out the bugs from the fixtures and replaced bulbs. The owners had a step stool, so it only took a few minutes for us to correct. Dishwasher needs maintenance, as it does not seem to clean the dishes very well, even when the dishes were thoroughly pre rinsed they came out with bits of food stuck on them.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Blue Water Lodge! The floor plan of house accommodated all of our family’s needs! We enjoyed cooking all meals in the well equipped kitchen. The hot tub, billiards table, and dock provide countless hours of entertainment! Be prepared to work your legs climbing the steps back and forth from house to dock! We look forward to coming back!
