Lots of room inside and out, everything you need for a top notch vacation on property and out on the lake including a 2 story private dock with covered slip, deck furniture and a slide!
Surrounded by trees, lake and mountain views, this beautiful 3,000 sq ft lake view home is in a quiet cove just inside the 5mph zone, around the corner from the Cedar Creek Road Jumping Bridge and nearby Shanghai Resort (the top resort on Norris Lake) where you can fuel up, dine, buy lake supplies, rent pontoon boats, jet skis and more.
This 2 story lake house is a Large Group Vacationers Dream featuring 6 Bedrooms and 6 Bathrooms (each Bedroom has its own bathroom), 2 full length 48 foot wide covered decks (1,000 additional sq ft of living and play space), complete with tables, chairs, BBQ and flat top grills, porch swing, ping pong table and hot tub.
MAIN FLOOR
The entry welcomes you to the living room with vaulted ceilings, luxury plank flooring, 3 couches, TV, fireplace and plenty of windows to enjoy the views. Large kitchen with granite counters, a wrap around bar with stools, dual stainless steel refrigerators, in-counter ice maker, dual dishwashers, dual ovens, gas stove, complete dishware, cookware, utensils, microwave, dual coffee makers (including Keurigs), everything you need to cook and entertain indoors and out. For dining you’ll have 2, 8-seat dining tables and a large island/bar that seats 6. The full house length covered deck overlooking the lake has a dining table, chairs, a conversation seating area and large gas grill and separate flat top grill. 2 bedrooms: each with its own bath and king bed. No steps or stairs on the main floor means anyone with issues negotiating stairs will be able to join in the fun.
LOWER LEVEL
The lower level is a separate living room/game room with couches, TV, shuffleboard, classic arcade style video game, fully stocked game cabinet with cards, puzzles, board games and a karaoke machine. Walk out to the large covered full deck with views, a porch swing, ping pong table and access to the lighted hot tub with a covering that can be opened or closed for all weather hot tubbing. Below is the large fire pit with seating for 9 or more. This floor also has the Laundry Room with a washer and 2 dryers. 4 bedrooms: one with a queen bed, two bedrooms with queen beds and twin bunks, the fourth bedroom has 2 full bunk beds, one twin with a trundle.
Plenty of Parking. Free high speed Internet/Wifi and Long Distance.
2 Complimentary 4 seater golf cart for trips around the neighborhood and access to the dock. (may be unavailable during winter/spring) Liability waiver must be signed for access.
Community pool closed due to repairs for 2025 season. Will be back for 2026!
This is a non-smoking/non-vaping home. Minimum Age 27 Years for renter responsibility.

Summary: Family from Louisiana, Maryland, and Pennsylvania met at Comfort Life for a grand Thanksgiving celebration, Nice chilly weather, beautiful home, excellent amenities. Loved the kitchen. Bedrooms, bathrooms were very clean and comfortable. Had a little trouble finding the rental. NEED to follow directions carefully, Cabin had excellent WiFi, but phone service was spotty.

Summary: House held a large family for a week long vacation at Norris Lake. Good access to the water with our own 2-story deck with a slide and jumping area. Everyone was pleased with the house. Grocery store is 10 min away. Popular bridge to jump off is a 5 min boat ride down the cove. Would stay here again.

Summary: The house was perfect for our family reunion of 20 people. There was a place for all of us to sit and eat meals together and the kitchen, with the double fridge and double oven, allowed us to cook large meals easily. We enjoyed the quiet location, the fire pit, the kayaks on the dock, and the hot tub. In the summer, there would be even more to do in the water. The house was clean and the hosts communicated well.

Summary: We had around 20 people staying at Comfort Life where we had a Family Reunion Thanksgiving. We ordered prepared holiday meals from Food City (20 min. drive), and everything we needed for our meals and to heat up our meals was provided in CL's kitchen. Having 2 dishwashers and 2 refrigerators was such a blessing! We also loved how each bedroom had it's own bathroom. The cornhole and hot tub and grill were wonderful to use too. I can't think of anything we needed that wasn't supplied. We did have to go grab more toilet paper and paper towels, dishwasher packets, but that's normal for VRBO stays. There was plenty of room to stretch out and relax without feeling cramped. And, plenty of seats for all of us at the dining room table/island area. It's a great place for a large family getaway.

Summary: House is as advertised and all the amenities are great. Golf cart is clutch if you have younger travelers because it is a bit ways down the stairs to the dock. Had the best time swimming and jumping off the upper deck of the platform. Great spot.
