Go no further! You can have the best of ALL worlds at Laid Back Living with gorgeous views of the mountains, trees and the beautiful pristine waters of Norris Lake, along with the many amenities that this home in popular Lakeside Estates has to offer! It rents Sunday to Sunday during peak summer season. Laid Back Living was built in 2016 with vacationers like you in mind. There is plenty of available parking right at the house and FREE internet and long distance telephone.
This 2-story lake house features spacious living areas on each level with a stained wood vaulted ceiling, a fireplace and expansive windows to greet you as you walk into the main level in this open concept floor plan. The fully equipped kitchen has granite countertops with plenty of seating available to enjoy your company at the oversized dining table as well as the large kitchen island/bar. Step out to the elevated deck from the kitchen/dining area and take in the views while drinking your morning coffee! The large covered deck includes a gas grill and tables & chairs for outdoor dining enjoyment. There are two bedrooms (each with a King bed) and two bathrooms also on the main level.
The lower level has a large family room area with couches, big flat screen TV and an air hockey table. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms on this level, one with a King bed, one with a Queen bed, another with a Queen bed and Full/Full bunk and the other with a Double bed and Twin/Twin bunk. There is also a laundry room on this floor with washer & dryer. Walk out to the lower deck and relax in the hot tub after a long day! A short set of stairs off the lower deck leads you to the firepit and corn hole area for more family fun and entertainment! Here you can access the golf cart/walking path that takes you to the private double decker dock. Or simply take the COMPLIMENTARY GOLF CART!
The upper level of the 2-story double decker dock features a large round table with 8 chairs so you can enjoy the beautiful scenery while right on the water. Oh, and did I mention the dock has a slide? Super fun for kids (and adults) of all ages!! The dock has one covered slip and 2 other areas with cleats to tie up your watercraft. No watercraft? No problem! There are several places on the lake that rent boats and/or jet skis. And for the non-motorized water enthusiasts, there are 2 kayaks and a paddleboard for your enjoyment!
Lakeside Estates is a gated community with private boat ramp, community pool and walking trails. A quiet cove surrounds the neighborhood which is located near the famous Cedar Creek Jumping Bridge and Sugar Hollow Marina. Sugar Hollow Marina is a full-service marina with a restaurant, live entertainment during certain times of the year, fuel and ice. Vacationing on Norris Lake will be one of the most fun and memorable times you could ever share with your friends and family. Whether you are boating, fishing or spending the day swimming or just lounging, you will enjoy the calm clean waters of the lake and its surroundings. Staying in Lakeside Estates feels like a true getaway, yet you are only 10-15 minutes from grocery, restaurants and shopping. Taking a break from the lake or visiting in the off season? Summary: A nice property with open upstairs great for gatherings. Plenty of beds/pillow/blankets. Property manager was responsive. Lake access is a bit of a haul but a fun dock. You are nestled next to several other cabins and we just happened to be there when several loud college groups were there so the music was constantly blaring but we would rent again. Great house

Summary: Very nice home in a no wake cove. Property is not waterfront but a golf cart is provided to get you and your belongings to the water! Very spacious home with plenty for our young adult kids to do. Home is as advertised in the pictures and the property manager and owner very responsive to any concerns that we had!!

Summary: It was stated that we would get a full refund of our security deposit 14 days after checkout, but it is now almost 3 weeks and we have received nothing and have not been told of any damages which there absolutely were no damages. This was in the mailing we received on the Monday before we checked in. Otherwise, the house was great, and the area is definitely a location we will come back to in the future.

Summary: The home was the perfect size for our reunion. The kitchen was spacious and the two fridges were awesome. House and furnishings were comfortable. Everyone commented on how the beds slept good. Didnt like having to make our own beds, first rental Ive encountered that does it that way. We were missing two pillow cases. The manager responded to all my text and got them to us right away. The hilly golf cart path was a little steep in spots that made us nervous, but didnt take away from us enjoying the property, the dock or the lake. We were down there everyday except one when we went to Dollywood. Plenty to do on Norris Lake. We loved the cave by point 19, Froggies and Shanghai.

Summary: The house was beautiful and the amenities were awesome! It had everything our family needed for a wonderful family celebration. The only issue was that the stove had a major electrical issue on our first full day there which prevented us from cooking for several days. we had family dinners planned that we were not able to cook. Also, we lost time on the lake, waiting for someone to come and fix it! The other thing that I would add, is that the hot tub was not very hot I would call it more of a warm tub!

Summary: Beautiful home with plenty of space for a large group to stay comfortably. Lake access was easy with the golf cart and we enjoyed the dock and slide. The lake cove did not have a lot of boat traffic which made it fun and safe to play. We had 6 vehicles at one point which made the driveway a little challenging but is very accommodating with 4. We loved the area.

Summary: We loved our stay - the home was beautiful, just as described on the site. The open kitchen/living room was perfect for our group. The walk down to the dock was a bit long and steep - but the golf cart was an awesome addition that made it easy! we loved how close the fire pit was to the house - we spent a cold day sitting around the fire and it almost made up for not being on the lake :) Only minor disappointment (although not huge, because weather was cold) was that the pool was not filled. Might be helpful to note the dates that the pool is open in the listing. Would definitely stay again.

Summary: We rented both properties so it was nice we could accommodate our large group. Our hot tub was nice but the other property next door could not get their hot tub to work so we shared. We were a little disappointed that we could not get down to the dock this time of year due to the water levels being down but enjoyed the beautiful colors of the trees surrounding us. We would definitely stay again.
