9 Bedroom Cabin in Lakeside Estates, LaFollette

Enjoy your own "Slice of Heaven". This massive, 4,500 square foot, 3 story home on the Norris Lake shoreline offers knotty pine cathedral ceilings, huge kitchens and formal dining rooms overlooking large TV rooms, providing the ultimate entertainment for an extra-large group of friends and family.
The 2 kitchens provide 2 sets of appliances sure to please the camp chefs. The extra large two level island bar is equally suited for entertaining as it is for whipping up huge meals for the hungry group. There is large outdoor propane grill with basic utensils and free propane.
With 8 bedrooms, 5 full bathrooms, and sofa sleepers, this spectacular home is designed for large groups. Couples will appreciate the 6 king/queen beds featuring pillow top mattresses. For those with mobility limitations, there are 2 bedrooms on the main level (see bedroom details).
3 TV rooms ensure everyone gets to watch their Dish Network, movie, or ball game in surround sound. The game room features a pool table/ping pong and shuffle board.

Saving the best for last- Four decks overlook the lake. Relax in the hot tub while viewing the lake. The hot tub water is changed prior to your arrival. Enjoy stories by the campfire.
Stroll off the back deck to your own personal double deck dock with slide and jump gate.
The dock has two covered slips measuring 10' x 24' and room for 2 more boats on the outside. No boat? No worries! Simply call NorrisLakeWaterSports (ask for '10% Bertke discount') or OasisNorrisLake. Both deliver right to your dock. Nearby Sugar Hollow marina, Shanghai marina, Springs Dock offer daily/weekly boat rentals.
The boat ramp is inside our neighborhood approximately 1/3 mile away. There is parking for approximately 5 vehicles directly in front of the home. Trailers and extra vehicles are parked in the designated trailer parking area inside our neighborhood.
This neighborhood has a small, free, community pool with kiddie pool 1/3 mile from the cabin up a very steep street. . It is clean but nothing fancy. There are no life guards or concessions. You don't need a pass. Free parking is available

Summary: We were excited to be able to book this location at the last minute when our other vacation plans fell through. This is a beautiful area of TN, but also a bit difficult to navigate because of the terrain. Out host was helpful by sharing “need to know” information for those of us unfamiliar with the area. The house was large and comfortable. The previous renters left some dirty dishes for us to clean, but we were able to deal with that. Norris Lake is a very busy lake!

Summary: We had a great time in Slice of Heaven on Lake Norris! The place is big enough that we all had family time and privacy. The lake is fun and the dock looks very new. We spent most of the time in and around the dock. It is noted in the description that you have 99 stairs from top to lake so be aware but there are 4 levels to rest in between. The only time we needed help (chirping fire alarm), someone was out within the hour to fix so very quick response time. Only reason for 4 stars is the place could use a spruce. Doors sticking, lumpy beds, kitchen could use a good scrub. Overall I’d recommend this for large groups that love water sports!

Summary: Very cleanly with rapid response from property manager on all questions. I would have loved to have basics provided for when we first checked in such as condiments, extra toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, and such. However, listing does state it to bring your own. I unfortunately did not pay attention to this fact. The only thing I was disappointed with was the number of towels provided. There were approximately 36 towels. However, the towels were small which required the use of 2 any time a shower or bath was taken. Therefore, 1-2 loads of towels had to be washed for our group of 22 people. Outside of that, this was a much needed trip with plenty of room to spread out or be together!!!!

Summary: My Family needed a lot of room and this place has it . Hot tub was enjoyed by all and very nice . It was not up to my cleaning requirements but it was late in the season . Windows , blinds , and carpet needed some TLC . Had a great time overall .

Summary: A great place for a family gathering! Plenty of room for everyone to dine / play games around the kitchen table, and the multiple levels maintain a certain level of privacy, as well. The house is very close to the Jumping Bridge, Sugar Hollow Marina, and not far from a grocery store.

Summary: We rented this cabin so that multiple families from all different states (IN, OH, TN, GA & FL) could all get away and celebrate Christmas together. There was plenty of room to spread out and get away when you wanted to and the kitchen and tables were the perfect size to serve the large group. We had a couple issues with toilets & dishwasher and the light bulb by the hot tub was out but I sent a message to the owner and all were fixed in a couple hours!!! Owner is very nice to work with!! We would stay there again.
