Freshly remodeled with attention to detail, this lovely home enjoys a serene view of Lake Macatawa. Generously sized bedrooms can host your group in comfort and a well appointed kitchen lends itself to cooking with the family.

Conveniently located just minutes away from local beaches and Holland's quaint downtown, this location still has a secluded retreat feeling without sacrificing any comforts. Beautiful spacious lot connects directly to Lake Macatawa. Patio, deck and firepit offer plenty of options for outdoor entertaining. Main floor has master bedroom with steam shower and lake view. Additional main floor bedroom has queen bed. Lower level has additional guest room with queen bed and built in bunks as well as family area with foosball and dedicated theater room. Truly a perfect escape near the shores of Lake Michigan!

Summary: We had a great stay at this home - only about 5-10 drive from the beach and downtown Holland shops. The home was comfortable, equipped with games for our kids, and had most everything we needed for a pleasant stay in a nice quiet neighborhood!

Summary: PROS: Spacious kitchen. Open floor plan. Lots of windows. Use of part of the garage. On the water. Fun games in basement like Pac Man and pingpong. Lots of boardgames. Nice big Deck. Also deck near water. Can kayak on the inlet. Quiet neighborhood. Lovely to watch the birds on the water. Near Lake Michigan. Stu Visser Nature park for walks just around corner. Pickle ball courts nearby. La Playa Mexican restaurant. Farmers market held several days on Ottawa. CONS: Must sign 5 page contract with BVW so should have rented directly from BVW to save $500 VRBO charge. Plants in water makes it difficult to use anything other than a kayak on the water so need to use public boat launch for sailboat. Some road noise when sitting outside and loudspeaker from church on Ottawa. Those in upstairs bedrooms need to be aware that soundproofing isn't good so downstairs bedroom people can hear the upstairs people. Refrigerator wasn't working properly. BVW company didn't believe me initially. Food kept at improper temp. is dangerous so I was persistent to get action then got to talk to a local person from BVW. (Initially you are corresponding with people out of country outsourced by BVW.) Local person dropped off a mini fridge and lots of ice bags that evening. A fridge repairman came to install new fan a couple of days later. Did receive a little remuneration. Would think part of BVW's job would be regular checks on properties: oven door didn't shut tight. 2 of the windows didn't open.

Summary: The property was lovely. But they decided to do work on the beach front and made a muddy mess if the yard in doing so. Could not get to pier with out going through mud. No fire pit available which we were looking forward to. Worst of all moldy and musty basement which made allergies of some members of our party flare up quite badly. We could not use basement bedroom so some had it sleep on couch. We loved our stay in Holland but though the home was very nice they really need to get the moisture out of the basement.

Summary: This home is just lovely inside and it sits on the Macatawa Lake with a beautiful view at sunset! The house was fully stocked with anything we needed including serving dishes. The basement is a riot...ping pong, Pac Man, Foosball and shuffle board as well as a large variety of board games if you need!!! The house has a nice open floor plan for enjoying your time together. Gas grill cooked up great steaks! There is a small gas fire pit to sit at right down by the water. And the fishing was fun! We caught a lot, but I wouldn't eat them out of that lake! LOL!! Cant go wrong!
