Positive: The host reached out ahead of the stay and provided detailed instructions. When we got there, we were pleasantly surprised at how spacious the apartment was. It came with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a large dining area and a kitchen. The place was located in a central location, close to a water ferry stop, and many restaurants near the apartment. 20 mins from the main train terminal and St Marco's square.
Negative: An elevator would be nice. Not recommended for people with accessibility challenges as it is on the 2nd floor.
Summary: Great stay, loved the place, it was very clean and comfortable and it was located in a great area.

Positive: The hosts sent us a code for the building door and told us where we could find the key to the apartment. We called it our 'Santa' key because it was a large old fashioned key that everyone thought was fun. It was easy to find and in a great location with stores and food right outside. We need band-aids and toothpaste and there was a pharmacy right across from our apartment. We loved Venice and this location. We could easily walk to everything and of course took a gondola ride on the last day for enjoyment! We had a bit of a walk to/from the train station with our bags, but there are plenty of water taxis and help available if needed. Having a full table and chairs and kitchen was great for our family to spread out and cool off after sightseeing. Having a washing machine was a great help as we needed to wash a few items of clothes from our last city. The location is walkable to so many great sights of Venice and there is a lot of food and shopping close by, but also lots of bridges and water you can enjoy close by as well.
Negative: The chairs at the table were a bit tricky, just need to be careful as the legs of the table don't fit the chairs. The dishwasher wasn't working but that wasn't an issue for us as we didn't cook, just needed to handwash a few glasses. The pull out sofa wasn't as comfy because there was a large space between the cushions and the back of the couch that didn't seem like we could change. The main guest bedroom with double bed was quite firm. Some may like that, but it was bit too hard for my husband and I.
Summary: A wonderful place, easy to find and close to the heart of everything we loved about Venice.

Positive: Great location! Close to eateries, pastry shop/deli, and pharmacy. Can walk anywhere in Venice. Everything was clean. Beds comfy.
Negative: Could have used some paper towels. Some walls could be freshened up with paint and curtains washed.
Summary: Great place to stay! Would book again!

Positive: The Location was excellent, easy to get to. Right next to the canal, we were able to get a gondola ride right outside the apartment.

Positive: This is a hard review to write. Yes, the apartment was clean, had hot water, a good washing machine, and kitchen appliances that worked. That is why I gave it a 6. But the bedrooms had hardly any furniture besides the bed, one bedroom had a chest of drawers but it was already in use by the owner. I had a chair in my bedroom for my clothes but my husband had his clothes on the floor. The furniture in the living room was a couch so hard it was uncomfortable to sit on, and the only other piece of furniture was an ottoman. No chance of sitting around having drinks together. The dining room chairs were lopsided. The dishes and other kitchen accessories were old and stained or scrathed up. It reminded me of a college dorm. The entranceway was full of big white bags like for construction debris. We didn't know what they were for. All this after I promised my friends that I always research my booking.com location. And i reassured them that I always pick well. At least it was clean, if minimum comfort and no charm. This 8.9 rating is deceiving. I am including photos. .

Positive: The apartment was in a great location with a great view and lots of awesome restaurants around us. Very spacious bedrooms, great bathrooms, and a very secure building. I loved the blackout shades in the bedrooms!

Positive: The location and views are fantastic. My friends and I (all teenagers) traveled as a group and the location was perfect for us. The locals are incredibly nice and helpful, we’d love to stay here for our next trip too.
Negative: Only problem we had was that one of us spent the first night on the couch in the living room instead of the first room and he said it was very uncomfortable, but after switching to the room everything was fine.
