This one of a kind property is located in the of resort and fishing village of Zihuatanejo.
Perched on top of a hill, but still close enough to the beach to hear the waves roll, it has an unblocked view of Playa la Ropa (Voted Traveler's Choice top #5 beach in Mexico).
This award winning house was designed by Mexican architect Andrés Saavedra and is part of El Ensueño 10; a 6 unit Eco- friendly resort that has been recognized as one of the most outstanding ocean-side developments in the country, and it has been published in various prestigious architecture books.
This very private house features 2 air-conditioned bedrooms with private baths and indoor/outdoor showers, ceiling fans, ample hot water is available with an on-demand water heater.
The king size beds feature Sealy “Orthopedics” mattresses and 400+ Italian Percale linens.
Both bedrooms offer ample closet space and built-in shelving for your clothing. Every bedroom has a safe for your valuable items.
Every bedroom has glass doors and shutters and a beautiful view to the bay.
There is also a very large private deck area with loungers that will help you unwind, umbrellas to get enough shade while sunbathing, a seating area for entertaining and watching marvelous sunsets while sipping drinks, and enjoying the Bali-bed that ensures absolute relaxation.
You can also enjoy a private dip pool. At night you can adjust the lighting according to your mood, and the stars in the sky will amaze you!
You will also experience al fresco dining, under a wonderful palapa roof.
The open living room has a very comfortable sofa where the ceiling fans will provide you with a wonderful breeze while you read, listen to your favorite music, watch TV on our 60" flat screen in the living room with Netflix and Apple TV, and enjoy free hi speed Wi-Fi. 40 " flat screen with Netflix in every bedroom.
You’ll find everything you need in our fully equipped kitchen. Gather in the indoor dining area for an informal lunch, or dine on the deck with the view of the Pacific Ocean.
We have just about every kitchen gadget you need, including coffee maker, juicer, blender, toaster, coffee grinder, new Expresso machine,microwave, oven, stove top, cooking and baking pans. There is a full size refrigerator with ice maker,, an electric range, a washer and dryer, and a water purification system for the whole house.
The house is beautifully decorated with original artwork created by one of Mexico's most renowned artist´s. ( Miguel López Vázquez, Instagram: artelopezvazquez)
Common areas include a soothing infinity pool that overlooks the bay. Right next to it is a large palapa with a common barbecue, a small kitchen area and a restroom. There are pool towels provided, and you can sunbathe on Bali-beds, or relax in the shade provided by the palapa on some nice loungers. A table and chairs, and a small bar are also available. The garden is beautifully landscaped and maintained by our full time groundskeeper.
For those who need to exercise there is also a small onsite air-conditioned fitness center. Nearby yoga classes are always available.
Each unit has one private parking spot.
Our wonderful maid, Ana provides complimentary housekeeping service if requested every other day except on Sunday´s.
If you want to leave the premises and enjoy the beach, you can either walk or take a taxi to la la Ropa, a wonderful sandy beach that provides a string of great seafood and international restaurants. Water sports and activities ranging from boogie boards, water skiing, parasailing, jet skis, and catamarans to beach volleyball are available. You can also rent beach chairs and umbrellas there.
The waves on La Ropa are generally mild and allow for great swimming.
On the way back stop a for a fantastic coffee and pasties, or a little shopping; they also have a very select wine bar! Ask for information about their life music shows!
There are several dining choices along the road to town, many beautiful cliff-side restaurants overlooking the Bay.

Summary: Look no further if you're looking for an incredible, scenic, well appointed home with a patio to die for! Infinity pool is just outside the front door as well. Quiet, peacful serenity is how we describe this perfect home in Zihuatanejo ❤️. We came to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Zihuatanejo after a trip inland Mexico in Guanajuato, which was also amazing. Carlos is a GREAT host! Always responds quickly with answers to questions and with several staff on site, our needs were always met, and with a smile and generous spirit. This home is nothing short of FABULOUS! We look forward to coming again and again! The beds, both King size were extremely comfortable. The furniture was all comforable! The woodwork - gorgeous and the art and tastefulness was Extrodinary! A quick 5 minute walk to La Ropa Beach where you'll find eateries, and more eateries, massages, local shops and gorgeous views from the house and beach. Taxis to town were about 70 pesos and quick whenever we needed. Just a perfect place! By far our favorite place we've stayed in, and we've stayed in places all over the world. Thank you Carlos, for offering such a treat to travelers wanting to experience a high quality home!

Summary: We had a fabulous stay at Casa 1! The owner and property manager were exceedingly helpful and accommodating. Casa 1 is located on a hill in a complex of other units above the Zihua bay with spectacular views. Casa 1 has a great floor plan, beautiful patio and conveniently located so it is both private, and near the infinity pool and BBQ area. The unit was well equipped with everything you need to live in for your entire trip. We stayed in some and took advantage of a terrific chef that came in and prepared a delicious 5 course meal. We also retained an in house masseuse on two separate occasions followed by a nice soak in the hot tub. Venturing out for excursions and dinner was easy and safe with the prompt taxi service to and from the facility. Security is excellent and appreciated but we found Zihua to be safe and lots of fun. Casa 1 was meticulously cleaned several times during our stay and the staff addressed all our questions and needs. Casa 1 is definitely on our list for a return visit and even longer stay. Thank you Carlos for a great stay in your beautiful home!

Summary: I can’t give a better rating. This property has it all! Friendly & helpful staff. Amazing views. Clean & incredibly well appointed. Everything works. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a perfect stay. The owners were quick to respond and very helpful. I just can’t say enough about this place.

Summary: Fantastic property! The lodging was our vacation… meaning we could have just stayed in Casa 1 the entire time and would have still enjoyed the trip. You can hear the waves crash on Playa del Ropa and see them from the room. The beds were comfy (although the linens were pretty scratchy and undesirable). The property owner (Carlos) was very accommodating, the service staff was great and responsive… but if I was looking for something to complain about, I found the property manager to be a bit daft and not great at her job. Never saw her again afte the first day so all was great. Zihuatanejo, was incredible. We are like royalty for about 35 bucks a meal for two. I wish my Spanish was better, but the people worked with us and were super friendly. In short… We can’t wait to come back!
