Casa Jean is the perfect location for relaxation and privacy set in the tranquil hills of Mesquita Alta - an ideal location for couples wishing to relax and get away from it all but not far from amenities and good local restaurants.
Casa Jean, which is fully licensed for rentals, is a magnificent recently refurbished detached villa set in a peaceful countryside location with a large fully enclosed garden and a large 10 m x 5 m private swimming pool and magnificent countryside and distant sea views. Enjoy magnificent sun sets on the private terrace whilst enjoying a glass of excellent local wine. Located just 5 Kms from the quaint town of Sao Bras de Alportel and close to all its amenities, just a 20 minute drive north of Faro airport and 20 minutes from the beautiful beaches of the Algarve, Casa Jean is the perfect location to get away from it all and enjoy a peaceful relaxing holiday.
Casa Jean is a real "home from home" with beautiful newly decorated and furnished interiors and comprises of 3 bedrooms (2 available for rent) and 2 bathrooms. There is one bedroom on the first floor, a large master suite with two single beds. This bedroom is served by a modern, well fitted bathroom with bath and shower over and has direct access to a large private terrace with beautiful countryside and distant sea views. The third bedroom is downstairs and has a king sized bed/ ceiling fan and has direct access to the outside terrace and is served by a modern shower room and downstairs toilet.
On the first floor is a small inside terrace which is ideal for reading/relaxing and has an amazing view of the hillside and surrounding area.
The villa has electric radiators in all rooms - perfect for Winter rentals. Cost of electricity used between November and March will be charged extra to the weekly price. The living room has a new log burning fire, a new corner unit sofa, a 3 seater leather sofa and a reclining leather chair, large 50" flat screen television, DVD player (with plenty of DVDs)and access to paid internet connection and Wi-Fi.
There is a large dining area complete with a dining table and chairs with seating for 6 people. The large modern kitchen is well equipped with plenty of crockery and all the utensils you will need. Meals can be enjoyed in the dining room, or at the large oak table in the kitchen which seats up to 6 people, or alfresco as there are plenty of tables and chairs out on the large patio area. Meals can either be prepared in the well stocked kitchen or outside on the large BBQ.
The large pool terrace is completely private and enjoys the magnificent country views to enable total relaxation to enjoy your holiday in an amazing peaceful & safe environment.

Summary: We stayed for Christmas period 2021. The most peaceful location away from the hub but close enough. The Hammond have equipped the property with everything you need, and more. Lots of very useful information ready for you in the pack. Local town has lovely little restaurants and takeaways. Exploring this area has been most enjoyable. If you’re a cat fan then you will enjoy the occasional visit by two kitties.

Summary: Casa Jean villa is a lovely detached and spacious place to stay, everything you would need for a great and relaxing break. Lovely gardens with numerous sitting areas, and gorgeous pool. Pleasant views with a great deal of privacy. Just a short drive from Faro airport, ideally situated to explore the Algarve. Just a short drive from shops and restaurants. Would certainly return again in the future !

Summary: A well equipped villa with all the creature comforts of home. The lounge is spacious with comfortable leather sofas and satellite tv with a wood burner for those cooler evenings.The kitchen has a gas oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer and all the equipment you will need .There are three bedrooms, one ensuite and a upstairs bathroom with over the bath shower and a down stairs shower room with toilet and a separate wc. Outside the second bedroom there is a private balcony with sun lounges and of the landing there is a reading room.The swimming pool and the surrounding patio areas are wonderful with views of the gardens,the surrounding fields and views across the valley down to Sao Bras de Alportel. Location is rural so a car is a necessity but Sao Bras de Alportel is a five minute drive with two good supermarkets. Casa Jean is a lovely villa and my wife and myself spent ten wonderful nights and would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful property to anybody .We hope to return next year. Sharron Hammond who is the owner of the property has been Excellent in the description of the property and responding to all communications and transactions involving the rental of the villa .Thank you. Summary: Casa Jean is in a quiet and peaceful area of the Algarve. The Villa has all the amenities for a lovely family holiday with a great pool and patio area to enjoy the sunshine.There are some supermarkets not to far away and some local restaurants which can be enjoyed for lunch or dinner. The Villa is very clean and comfortable.There are some interesting towns and villages to explore if you so desire but if you just want to relax and unwind in privacy this is the place for you. All in all myself and my wife both enjoyed our stay at Casa Jean and would recommend to friends and family Regards Steve & Kate

Summary: A good size inside and out. Attractive gardens and grounds with lots of options to sit in sun or shade. A wonderful pool right outside the back door with great views. Very well equipped and comfortable. Overall a very relaxing place to spend time in the sunshine.
