It's at the second floor, sunny and offers an extended view over a Canal on one side and a characteristic courtyard on the opposite side. It is comfortable for up to 4 people. It consists of: 1 living/dining room with a sofa bed, 1 large bedroom with a king size bed, 1 small bedroom with 1 single bed and an extra folded bed, modern kitchen/dining-room (fully equipped for gourmet cook with fridge, freezer, washing machine, kettle, coffee maker, two ovens and all utensils and many recipes), 1 luxury marble bathroom with shower enclosure, 2 balconies and a lanai with sun curtains and table for candle light supper.

Summary: Very comfortable, and accommodating for our trip prior to our cruise, was very close to everything. I love being in a neighborhood instead of a hotel situation. So quiet windows open all night so lovely. Lionella was a gem on giving us directions to everywhere we need to go would definitely recommend it if you want to chill out and have a local experience.

Summary: This apartment felt like a floor of a house. The floors were beautiful and the furniture was obviously antique and well cared for. It had every amenity one might need including scissors, maps, information, nice glass ware, etc -first class! The location is in a quiet family neighborhood on a canal. It’s a bit of a walk to catch the cape retro, but for younger folks (we are well into our 70’s), it would be very manageable. Thank you!

Summary: We arrived late into Venice but that was not a problem. Carmen was very nice and accommodating and had her friend meet us there. She was extremely kind and showed us the apartment and gave us some tips where to eat etc. The apartment is clean and perfect for up to 4 people. It is decorated with some very nice furniture and the bathroom is clean. We had an amazing time and I would definitely recommend this apartment to those looking for a place in Venice

Summary: Wonderful location if you don’t want to be right in the middle of all the other tourists. A true experience of what it would be like to live in Venice! Plenty of space and still very close to multiple restaurants.

Summary: Ca Mallo is a lovely apartment on a wonderful canal, away from the hustle and bustle of Venice (although that energy is only a two minute walk away should you crave it)! The building has Italian families living above and below; they can be heard dimly through the walls, but they are the real sounds of the real living Venice, not the tourist museum. Because they are the sounds of the people whose city we came to visit they did not bother us. We were greeted by Lionella who gave us an excellent and invaluable orientation. The apartment is very well equipped -- we had everything we needed. We loved having coffee on the balcony above the quiet canal, watching the children go off to school and the older folks taking their daily walk. Ca Mallo is a truly charming and special place.

Summary: My father and I stayed 3 nights. Location is perfect. It’s on a quiet charming residential canal but close also to restaurants and stores. We loved this place. Lots of light, beautiful furnishings including glass chandeliers, plenty of space, good spacial layout. The best part was the three balconies. One of them, just off the living room, overlooks the canal. The other two balconies, off the kitchen and the smaller bedroom, overlook a large area of small alleyways, neighboring gardens and laundry drying on the line. It’s very quaint. The walls are a little thin but that wasnt an issue for us. Owner is professional, helpful and punctual. It was a favorite place we stay in the four cities we visited in Italy. Highly recommended.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at Carmen's apartment. It was just a couple minutes from a vaporetto stop and easy walking to lots of interesting sights and shopping. The apartment was on a quiet canal, away from the tourists but just an easy stroll to all lots of hustle and bustle. I would highly recommend getting an extended vaporetto (water bus) pass if you'll be there several days which is very convenient and will save you lots of money. The apartment is a couple of flights up, but it's not a huge hike up. There are residents above and below and you can easily hear them walking around and talking. This noise did not extend late into the night though so it wasn't really a problem but ear plugs are always a good idea when traveling! There's a nice little balcony facing thr canal where I enjoyed morning coffee or evening wine.
