Our farmhouse is located in a peaceful yet very central location to all our area has to offer. There is driveway parking for four vehicles.
The house was fully restored to ensure all the comforts that you may need during your stay. Situated on 1.5 acres, the property features a fenced in back yard with a lovely stone Firepit and a great deck to enjoy your morning coffee or dinner. On the side patio, the hot tub is ready for your use and enjoyment.
The first floor features a great mud room entry, family game room stocked with many choices, modern farmhouse kitchen, beautiful dining room and a cozy living room. The first floor also includes the downstairs master bedroom with a king bed and full bathroom.
On the second floor, you’ll find: A bedroom with a full bed, laundry area and a full bathroom. You’ll also find the other two bedrooms - one with a queen bed and one with a king bed. Each bedroom has their own closet space and has been upgraded with room darkening shades.

Summary: My family and I rented the house to attend my nephews graduation from Cornell. The house was a good size and nicely decorated. The house was clean enough, but not overly clean. The listing said toilet paper and paper towels were provided but there was no extra other than what was left on the rolls. Messages owner about same- no response. Garbage disposal was broken by previous guests but since it was clogged it wouldn’t allow for use of the dishwasher without making the backup in the sink worse. Luckily my Dad and brother in law were able to fix it. Fire pit and hot tub were nice. Price was a bit much.

Summary: This property is a great space both inside and out. We shared with another family, both of us in town for our children's graduation. The inside was clean and offered enough space to cook, eat, sleep and relax, while the outside was wonderful to sit and have morning coffee, BBQ, set up lawn games and sit around the fire pit. Although this is a beautifully refurbished farm house, the only downside was the amount of steps within the home. If traveling with someone with mobility issues, even the downstairs bedroom and bathroom require stepping down, then back up to access. However, I still highly recommend the cleanliness and comfort of this home.

Summary: We had 7 adults in the house. Plenty of room to move around. We appreciated the big table and plenty of pans for cooking. (Some foil or plastic wrap would have been nice to have). Lots of games provided. Quick drive to Corning for activities or food. Upstairs got very warm, even with windows open at night, so some fans would have helped people sleep. Used the hottub, fire pit and grill. We enjoyed our stay.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at this charming home for Christmas with local family; but what made it exceptional were the owners and their responsiveness to our needs, even on Christmas Day! We were there during a record winter storm when any home would be challenged to stay warm, but we found some areas of the house to be quite cold. Christiana and her husband, even in the wicked blowing cold, brought additional blankets for us and two new space heaters, which made all the difference in creating a cozy stay. They also maintained the hot tub (great fun on a winter night) and took good care of the sidewalk with all the ice and snow. This home is supplied with so much more than most - many kitchen seasonings, a welcome wine tray, laundry detergent pods and softener, lots of family games, bowls and tray for our dogs, etc. The kitchen is a true chef's delight, but still needs supplies to handle a large group. The pots, pans and bowls are not sizable enough for meal-prepping beyond a family of four or so. Our unique needs (and the home's dining seats) were for 10-12 so we struggled a bit. Even one extra large stock pot or fry pan, and perhaps a crockpot, would make a big difference, as would some chip clips :). The home is very tastefully decorated, comfortable and roomier than it appears. Lots of closet space and the mudroom was a great addition for our needs, especially given the storm. It held all of our winter gear and ski supplies and kept clutter out of the living area. I would only "warn" future travelers of a few things so they're not surprised upon arrival: The home is in a great location for highway, airport and shopping needs, with a nice fenced yard, but not quite as private as it appears in photos. I would still stay again but some might be surprised by the corner traffic. It also has a very steep and narrow staircase which teens navigated fine but definitely requires caution. They're not at all designed for small children and toddlers. Throughout the whole house there are also lots of two or three steps into different areas, including the only bathroom on the first floor (shared with the master bedroom). It was a challenging layout for a new toddler and older persons. There was so much more to love about this stay than not, and they were truly the best VRBO hosts we've ever experienced. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!!

Summary: This property is amazing! Beautiful, clean, open, airy and quaint! Was in the area visiting family and shared the house w another family. Was perfect. Yard was great, although we didn’t use the fire pit or hot tub, was definitely an added bonus. 5 stars plus.
