Positive: The Location is excellent only 7 min walk into Dolgellau and a SPAR within 6 min of the Cottage.....lovely outdoor area to sit in and the Pool Table & Darts Board are a fantastic addition....Rooms are huge so plenty of space for everyone and the Cottage was spotless when we walked in

Positive: The house had plenty of room, with four double bedrooms and generous storage space in each one. It seems to have been refurbished very recently. The lounge/dining room was also quite big, with comfortable seating and a modern smart TV (50", I think). The kitchen was also very nicely fitted, although perhaps a little small for the size of the house, it was still fine for most needs. The upstairs bathroom was quite spacious and nicely fitted with a shower, rather than a bath. There was also a downstairs toilet to the same high standard. The games room with pool and darts was a nice bonus, especially when the weather wasn't so good. Outside was a pleasant patio area and dining table which was great in the nicer weather. Last, but not least is the view of Cadair Idris which was lovely.

Negative: We liked the property very much, but some points are worth noting. Accessibility is not ideal. There are some steps which climb from the parking area to the front door. There is also a step up into the bathroom from the landing and quite a high step up into the kitchen from the hallway. There is no dishwasher, probably due to lack of space for one. One of the bedrooms has a skylight, but there is no blind, so in Summer it will be light from very early. However it didn't bother us as we didn't use that particular room. Another bathroom or ensuite would have been ideal, especially if there had been more of us.
