Purple Moon Seabreeze Cottage is a beautiful historic Victorian bungalow located three blocks from downtown Ventura. We offer a queen-sized bed, king-sized bed and air beds are available upon request. This is a full sized home complete with washer/dryer, refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, televisions in both bedrooms and living room, lovely back deck in the back yard and a front porch area for sitting and admiring the view of the mountains and quaint architecture of Ventura. We have quick access to the beach. It is about a four block walk and there is a bridge to get you there faster, if you prefer. Downtown has lots of shopping, restaurants and a movie theater which shows ten movies. It is all within walking distance. We have an old-fashioned claw foot bathtub that comes with a shower head on it. We have a nice front and back yard for you to enjoy. Our front porch is an exceptional place to be during the parades. We have quite the view, too. Our home faces the beautiful mountains and homes across the street, which are really pretty to look at. Ventura is a lovely coastal city and the vibe is very laid back and the home is very comfortable. We have a piano for you to play. There are board games and yard games that are provided. We have internet and cable too!!

Summary: This was our 2nd time staying here. The house is so comfortable and stocked with all the amenities we need. You can't beat the location! And the host is so so friendly and helpful. We'll be back again!

Summary: Myself, my husband, and our 4yo twins stayed for the Thanksgiving holiday. The house is just two blocks from downtown Ventura, which is closed to car traffic and the perfect spot to shop, get food, or a coffee. There's something for everyone. I highly recommend a walk to the Mission, there's a really cool fountain down there. The house is so comfortable and unique. It gets lots of natural light, it's spacious, and the beds and couches were very comfortable. It's spotless too! For an old house, I expected some old dust, but no, it was immaculate. And well stocked. So many towels, blankets, dishes, and even toiletries. The water is hot, pressure is great. The front and back decks are great spots to relax. There were a few games that helped keep my kids entertained, and I loved that I could turn them out on the front yard or back porch to play. Dorothea was very responsive. Check-in was easy, checkout was even easier. We had a great time!

Summary: Purple Moon is indeed purple and wonderful. This quaint Victorian home is ideally located for a stay in Ventura. It is a short walk to the downtown pedestrian-only area that is full of shops and restaurants. The beach is close by. The house has everything you need, including rocking chairs on the porch and a sunny deck with a picnic table and sun umbrella. The owner is amazing, so helpful and easy to work with. Check in and check out was effortless.

Summary: Gotta admire the commitment to the theme! This cottage was cute, comfortable and a perfectly located for the wedding my family and I attended. The host was extremely responsive and accommodating.

Summary: Wonderful and charming house. The house, front and backyards are comfortable for relaxing and enjoying family vacation. Exceptionally clean with all the amenities. Summary: Two adult sons, husband and I spent 3 full days enjoying the beach in Ventura, quaint shops and thrift stores, breakfasts and dinners out to reinforce the "holiday", altlhough the kitchen was fully equipped, and house spacious for the 4 of us.The house is charming, with all the comforts and necessities of home. "Dee" the owner recommended Pete's for breakfast and Lure fish house for dinner...both delicious. When the air mattress was noted to have a leak...she ordered and had a new air matress immediately. If you play the piano...there are plenty of music books to play from. Thank you Dorothea (D)

Summary: This place is convenient to the pedestrianized part of Main Street, so it's a very nice area, but just far enough away to be very quiet at night. A few blocks from beach access, and good amenities that made it a very nice trip for us. Host was very communicative, and very accommodating.
