Summary: Lovely gathering spaces. Beautifully decorated. Well stocked kitchen. The bunk beds are kid friendly but not so suitable for adult sleepers. Great country landscape. The complimentary homemade bread and farm fresh eggs were a delicious, gracious surprise. The host was responsive to our questions and needs.

Summary: Excellent property in very relaxing surroundings. Spent 4 days in and around KC and the local area using this place as a central location. Very clean and extremely well equipped house. Everything as advertised, and more. Highly recommend and will stay here again.

Summary: I am from KC and visit frequently and I feel very relieved to have found this place. Will definitely book again. It was noticeably cleaned by professionals and as a mom of little ones I sincerely appreciated not having to do any extra cleaning before we had dinner and did our nighttime routine. Thank you again for a great stay!

Summary: The house was perfect for all of us! We had 6 adults and 2 children. They loved feeding the chickens & seeing all the animals. They views were amazing and the home had everything you could need.

Summary: Our stay was fantastic! We rented both the beautiful main farmhouse and the separate lovely studio downstairs for our whole family which included us, the parents, our two sons, wives and 5 grandchildren. It was perfect and everybody loved it. It was beautifully decorated and provided lots of special touches. It was so roomy and comfortable; definitely “home away from home.” It was nestled in the country, but still convenient to Kansas City amenities. The farmhouse is literally equipped with everything you will need including fully stocked kitchen, and appliances, laundry room, 1/2 bathroom on main floor, loft upstairs with 3 great bedrooms as described in advertisement, plenty of towels and toiletries. It is on a farm, so they have a chicken coop in the front yard, down the hill are the sheep, goats, cows, and a funny goose. David was an excellent and very accommodating host. He provided grain to feed the animals, except for maybe the goose because he sees himself as guardian of the barn. Our grandchildren loved feeding and petting the animals, not goose, of course. The hosts went above and beyond to provide an amazing stay for us. We even had a fresh homemade loaf of bread, stick of butter and a dozen fresh eggs in the refrigerator when we arrived. We would give more than 5 stars if we could. It was absolutely a beautiful home and extraordinary hosts. We will definitely stay here again when in the Kansas City area.

Summary: We had a college friends reunion with 6 adults and 10 kids 6 and under. We felt so at home, plenty of kid friendly plates, cups, etc. in the kitchen, books, and baby gates at the top of both sets of stairs. Two living areas made it nice for kids to play and adult conversation. Quiet location and the animals on the property were super fun as well. Some special homestead touches were left for us as well. Didn’t hear the person staying downstairs the time a car was there. Would definitely stay here again!

Summary: Our family reunion brought nine of us from Atlanta. The pictures did not do justice to this beautiful home. The listing of amenities were only the tip of the iceberg - so many "little things" were awaiting us and were very helpful in making our experience the best. The customer service was immediate when we had only one complaint (the temperature of the house), and was handled immediately offsite all the while being pleasant in the process. This was an extremely professional and well-appointed property that exceeded our high expectations. Feeding chickens, seeing goats and a calf, a "boatload" of WII games, and the quiet country surroundings were a thrill for our young grandchildren.

Summary: Very clean, spacious and well stocked home. The grand-kids loved the goats, baby calf and feeding the chickens. We also did the barn tour which was a lot of fun. Very nice owners. Plenty of beds and bathrooms, easy to use TVs, 2 grills, fire-pit.. everything you need for a comfortable, enjoyable stay. A little far from restaurants but we made a day full of activities in neighboring towns... Blue Springs, Buckner and Independence. Hope to stay here again next summer!
