Positive: On-street parking outside. Good garden space. The host provides good facilities. Close to Universal Studios and Warner Brothers Studios. Close to 101 Freeway and Burbank airport. Easy to get to downtown LA, Santa Monica, and further afield in the greater Los Angeles area.
Negative: The door code was sent on the day of travel (flying). This meant I needed data connectivity to collect my email and the door code. The instructions didn't clarify which door I had to access. I went to the wrong door as I couldn't see how you got through the gate (pull the string!) to the right door, at the back. Once I did get into the property, there were no instructions to access the Wi-Fi. These details were online, which needed more data to access! Being tired at this point, as I had flown internationally across multiple time zones, this all seemed an unnecessary hassle and was stressful. Why this information couldn't have been sent prior to travelling, I don't know. After this initial hiccup, everything else was fine.
Summary: Great location and good facilities - would stay again

Positive: Dreamy farmhouse was perfect for my family and I.  it was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.I was nervous for the location not knowing the area but neighborhood seemed very quiet and friendly. I highly recommend, and will be using again in the future. Also good communication, Property owner was available for questions at any time.

Negative: Upon arrival there was a heavy stench of cigarette smoke through the cottage. We also encountered ants in the kitchen and had to throw away some of our food as a result.
