A 3 minute walk to wide sandy beach (Hay Beach/Menhaden Lane), this pristine 4+bedroom, 4+ bath cedar clad three-level modern offers the essence of living in a treetop. With an entire wall of sliding doors in the living room overlooking cherry trees and wrap around deck, bay breezes waft throughout gently. The kitchen is a chef's delight, with granite counters, maple cabinets, Viking stove, Monogram refrigerator, Miele dishwasher, and sliding doors to an outdoor BBQ. STRONG WIFI /ORBI system throughout house.
The first floor has two bedrooms with exotic sea grass floor coverings and skylights with shades and shared full bath. The second floor has a TV room/library (bedroom) with two balconies with scenic views, a spacious master suite with spa like bath and full bath in hall. The lower level is above grade, featuring a bedroom-media room with adjacent full bath. The grounds are sequestered and lovely, with a far-eastern influence.
The heated Gunite pool has mahogany decking, lush bamboo gardens, sound system controlled through remote to the home, established red maples and river stone paths. Summary: We have been coming to Shelter Island for years and enjoyed our recent stay as well. The owner and property manager were very helpful and got back to us quickly. Highlight is the pool and the patio that almost feels like a tree house.

Summary: Everything is as described in the property information. The location is a 10 minute walk to Hay beach. The heated swimming pool is large and in a very attractive setting. The deck off the house is incredibly relaxing. The owner responds immediately to all questions. A great experience

Summary: This lovely house is a perfect summer getaway. The pool is great; even nicer than in the pics, and it’s a three block walk to a secluded beach with calm waters. Perfect for kids. The owner and property manager could not have been nicer or more responsive.
