Summary: We received a very warm welcome from Rafael when handing over keys. He explained the basics of the house and he left some wine, other Drinks and Food in the fridge ready to eat. Also basics like detergent, dish washer tabs etc were available. The house itself is very modern (incl. alarm system, separate AC in every room) and clean, the garden and pool simply amazing. You cannot ask for more! We enjoyed extensive cooking in the well-equipped kitchen (ok, the knives would all need sharpening) and with the outdoor bbq every day. Nice view from the garden to Campanet with its church sitting on a hill couple miles away. The house itself is somewhat close to the Coves, available by car over a bit of a rocky road. Large supermarkets 10-15 min drives away either in Inca or Sa Pobla. If proximity to the sea (25min drive) is not your main criteria this is a beautiful house for 8 people (4 double rooms with en-suite bath/toilet), plus guest toilet an another extra shower/toilet at the pool. Thanks to Rafael and Joana, we had a perfect stay.

Summary: This unique property was a destination in itself, especially if you like contemporary design. It was light, spacious and well laid out, with all the rooms on one level except for a mezzanine study area that overlooked the living space. There were lovely views of the garden from all rooms. The house was designed to let in an abundance of natural light, with the sun controlled by roof overhangs, planting and other shading. The 16m lap pool was stunning and was great for children and adults alike. We were hardly out of it. The house was extremely well equipped and, unlike many rental properties, there were basic cooking items (eg herbs), drinks and cleaning items in the house when we arrived so you only needed to replace what you used. It was nice that items could be rolled over to the next guests. It makes a difference to arrive at a house with some basic items or unopened food rather than having to equip a house with everything from scratch and then feel much of it is wasted if you have to clear the house at the end of your stay. It's a much more environmentally friendly way of renting. Rafael, the owner - a lovely man - greeted us when we arrived and when we left. His daughter Joana was excellent with the communication and could not have been more helpful with any queries that we had. The house was a rare gem amongst the many rental properties we have stayed in in Mallorca over the last 30 years.

Summary: We have visited Mallorca more than 20 times and seen a lot of different commodations from Palma town houses to very old fincas and 5 star estates. This Place in Campanet country side was the best and most practical accommodation we have had ever. 4 bedrooms with own bathrooms, great kitchen & cooking area, … everything for our Group of 'foodies'. Villa was suberb and so clean & tidy. Actually it was even more than that: it was shining when we got there. Location is real country side location and for us this meant good routes for jogging and biking (x-tyres needed). Thanks for Rafael&Marga for all the help and hospitality during our visit. And thanks for the Mallorcan food specialities you arranged for us... :). PL&family
