Positive: My son and I have traveled to many countries and have never been treated so well. The owner picked us up at the train station and took us there, made our tour itinerary, booked and bought our tickets, and organized transportation for the three days we stayed with her. She prepared my breakfast, as I am a vegetarian. It was perfect! The suite was cozy, clean, and had the best towels. It had a kettle and cappuccino maker, a hair dryer, and many other things, in addition to the beautiful view of the mountain. Thank you for everything, with you we learned what it means to be welcoming!

Positive: We had a lovely stay at this place. It is located very close to Tianmen Mountain. Hosts were very helpful, they pick us up from airport and drop and pick us up to cable car. Breakfast was great as well!

Positive: Amazing hotel with incredible views over Tianmen Mountain in a lovely, traditional and quiet area. The breakfast was a mix of western and traditional Chinese breakfast which was both very tasty. They also cooked a nice dinner for us every evening. The owners are really lovely, picked us up from the airport, drove us to Tianmen Mountain and even to a supermarket. They also helped us organise our days and tickets to Tianmen mountain and the national park once we had arrived which was really helpful. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

Positive: The host, Yian and Quen are very helpful. They told us a lot about their plan and the Tianmenshan county. Yian also took us to the train station for free. The breakfast is yummy. The location is very close to the mountain entry. We can even see the Tianmen hole from our accomodation.
Negative: Nothing much
Summary: Wealth to stay there if you plan to visit the Tianmen Mountain with plan B and C route.

Positive: Clean, modern facilities and a decently sized room for two in a boutique, family-run stay. You're in a very quiet, peaceful area, a little out of town, which we liked. We loved the projector in the room and the fruit and tea they gave us. Friendly staff provided clear recommendations for exploring Tianmen Mountain. They offered pickup & drop-off services to and from the B Route station (recommend this line rather than A), raincoats for us as it was bad weather and even early morning drop-off to Zhangjiajie West railway to continue our trip. Gave us a thoughtful mix of western and eastern breakfast options, and the meals offered were delicious and decent value. They even brought our dinner into our room on request. I felt the care the family puts into their hospitality and highly recommend this for those looking to explore Tianmenshan.
Negative: The location (in a small village with mostly other small hotels) doesn't offer any independent restaurant options so if you don't want to take a 15-20min Didi ride into town, you're limited to the meals offered by the homestay. However, this was not an issue for us at all.

Positive: We were made to feel very welcome. All of our excursions were planned for us, the food was delicious and the room was clean with a comfy bed and modern features. You can see Tianmen mountain from the room. The staff looked after us. Our first trip to Zhangjiajie was a wonderful experience made better by the Flower Whisperer Homestay. We will definitely go back.
