One of Folly's favorite stays, 'Folly's Best Kept Secret' is a completely renovated beach house with all the comforts of home. Centrally located, the home is just a short walk to the beach and the fishing pier, which also happens to be one of the best surf breaks on the island! Center Street with all it's restaurants and shopping is just one block away. Relax and enjoy the casual lifestyle that Folly is famous for, without ever moving your car! Dine at one of the great restaurants, then take a walk on the beach.. Finish the evening with cocktails and conversation on the home's large screened porch. A true four-season home that's cozy and warm, it's also perfect for winter getaways!
You'll really enjoy the new-house comfort this home provides while maintaining it's casual 'Folly-style' attitude. Renovated in a contemporary lay-out, the living room is open to the large kitchen, dining area and the screened porch making it perfect for entertaining both indoors and out. There are two large bedrooms (both are queen beds) and two large baths. There's even a hot and cold outdoor shower. Perfect for two couples or a family of four. You'll find 2 cable TVs, Free Wi-Fi, DVD, and blue-tooth sound - all to make your stay complete. Parking is a breeze with 3 off-street parking spaces including one covered space. This house is clean and very comfortable!!
Historic downtown Charleston is just a 20 minute drive away and offers some of the finest shopping in the southeast but make sure to leave time to take in some of the beautiful historic landmarks that made our city famous.

Summary: Folly’s Best Kept Secret was the perfect place for our Spring Break! Ernie is informative, welcoming, and a great communicator! The home was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Just a short walk to town with an abundance of restaurants and shops and so close to the beach! The entire island has a great, laidback vibe. We hope to come back!

Summary: My husband and I stayed at this house with another couple. This home is the perfect size for 2 couples at a great location. Plenty of restaurants, bars and the beach are within a couple blocks. Highly recommended.

Summary: We had an amazing time at this location! This was our second time to Folly, and we plan to return again and to this house specifically! Communication with Ernie was clear and timely! He helped me with the booking, called me on my way to Folly, and sent reminders of when trash was due for take out! The house was spacious, clean, and the perfect fit for 4 adults! Everything that was listed was included! The PORCH was PERFECT! A spacious and great amount of parking space! We loved having the beach chairs and wagon that was provided for our trip to the beach! If you are trying to find a place and not sure if this is the right fit, IT IS! He also gave us recommendations for food and we even used the house’s Harris Treeter membership to get discounted groceries! A++
