Positive: Lovely and quiet with beautiful views of the jungle and and rice fields. We had a really comfortable 2 nights before and after our jungle trek which was super easy to organise prior to arrival, along with transfers to and from the airport. The staff were all super friendly and welcoming. We ate here for breakfast and dinner and the food was really tasty and very good value for money.
Negative: The location although beautiful is a little out of town so be prepared with transport or for a bit of a walk.

Thank you 😊 Their jungle trekking also was high-quality in service, attention and entertainment. I stayed several weeks instead of a few days, def would like to come back.

The bungalows are modern and stylishly furnished, offering plenty of space and creating an atmosphere where you feel at home right away. Especially practical is the ample storage space, both in the room and in the bathroom – something that is often missing in Asia. The property is nestled among picturesque rice fields, immediately giving you the feeling of having arrived in a little paradise. Right from my arrival, I was welcomed with such warmth and friendliness that I immediately felt I was in the right place. Gino's Place is more than just accommodation – it's a place where you can feel the culture and the heart of the people. On the first day, I decided to book the jungle trekking directly at the hotel with Jack, one of the guides. Jack’s friendly, open nature and his knowledge of the jungle instantly convinced me. The trekking tour itself was simply breathtaking. The two days in the jungle were full of magical moments: different species of monkeys, exotic plants, and the absolute highlight – close encounters with orangutans! Experiencing these animals in their natural habitat was an indescribable experience that I will carry in my heart forever. Jack took all the time in the world to explain everything to me, leaving no question unanswered. It wasn’t just an adventure, but a deeply enriching experience. After the trekking, I returned to Gino's Place full of impressions and was warmly welcomed once again, as if I were coming home. But the best part was yet to come: a family birthday celebration was happening that evening, and I was spontaneously invited to join. It wasn’t a loud party but an incredibly intimate moment with the family, friends, and acquaintances. We all sat together around the table, eating, drinking, singing, and laughing – I was overwhelmed by the warmth and hospitality shown to me.
