Summary: A staycation. Hotel was nice but since it was in the middle of summer, restaurants were not in full operation. The pool was nice but was too warm.

Summary: Imagine a wheelchair user asks the front desk "where can I go front up to the bar and have a beer so they tell you go out the door turn right and turn at the fire hydrant so I do expecting a bar instead I get a steep blacked hill leading to a restaurant under construction with building materials sitting all over the wheelchair ramp and once we struggled inside the bar was up two staircases only the waitress just suggests I become miraculously be cured and get out my chair the maitre'd calls a van which drives my wife and I ten minutes away up a mountain to a restaurant and bar service was for diners only so another van trip back down the mountain that was just day one The next morning I get up for breakfast on the busiest weekend of the year they don't have a working coffee Maxine for 548 rooms the disabled wheelchair toilet at the pool is up a staircase the uninformed staff had no idea the restaurant for 548 rooms was under reconstruction it had a sheet of plastic for a roof the bar staff accessed our credit card without asking instead of charging to our room the only thing this hotel is good at is apologizing for screw ups the only competent staff are the amazing belhops

Summary: A friend reunion that only occurs once a year brought us back to this Hilton Tapatio Cliff Resort. This was our 5th time staying here over the last 8 years. The Resort was clean and decorated well from the lobby to the pool area to the room and restaurants. I have to say the shuttle service was amazing. They bring you to anyplace on the property in a timely manner. But the food was overpriced, the drinks watered down and the service mediocre at best. The adult pool is supposed to have a swim up bar but it was closed and you could not bring in food or beverage. Instead we had to call the main restaurant who would bring us our order. An hour later, our melted beverage arrived Made a reservation by phone to the fine dining restaurant a Difference Point of View on the day before. When we arrived, the hostess had taken an immediate attitude with us when our reservation wasn't found. I put our reservation on a credit card and when trying to recall that transaction, she decided not to serve us and promptly dismissed us. I asked to speak with her manager as this attitude was unprovoked she whipped her hair around and stomped away saying "Absolutely". It ruined our evening, our appetite, and our experience with this resort. Sadly, We will not be returning here.

Summary: We had a wonderful time. The rooms were very clean and the cleaning staff did a good job. My only suggestion is to have the pool filters more frequently clean to deduce the back flow of bugs back into the pool. I don’t like wasps or bees floating around. The room service food and restaurant at the top of the hill were wonderful!
