Summary: Everything about our stay at La Petite Maison was perfect. The house itself was charming, beautifully maintained, and felt like stepping into a dream. Waking up each day in such a picturesque setting was pure magic. The weather was fantastic during our visit, making it easy to enjoy the stunning views and peaceful surroundings. The area hiking is extraordinary - we highly recommend the hike from Beynac to La Roque - Gaga. We couldn’t have asked for a better home base in Beynac—truly an unforgettable week!

Summary: This sweet house was situated perfectly for exploring the Dordogne valley. Nothing was further than 30 minutes and those minutes were pittoresque. The sky and water views are breathtaking. The local bistrot (La petite tonnerre) welcoming and delicious.

Summary: Both Vincent and Andrea were extremely responsive. Martine welcomed us with open arms (literally!). She was so helpful, friendly, and full of joy! The home is fabulous! Beautiful, comfortable, and well stocked. The location is perfectly situated on a quaint street close to everything. We can’t wait to come back!

Summary: This house & Beynac are phenomenal! Host quickly responds to all emails and house staff Martine & Andrea are just great. Both helpful & informative. Martine even let us park in her driveway to avoid the parking lot. Both recommendations they gave us were perfect: La Petite Tonnelle - great restaurant steps from the house, and Sarissa at Taxi & Touring a la Carte provided us with a local winery tour that was educational & enjoyable! Cannot wait to return to Beynac!

Summary: La Petite Maison is a comfortable, well-equipped cottage located in a charming village. As described, there are two master bedrooms with ensuites, one of which is located on the top floor and the other on the bottom floor (i.e., two floors apart). We were two couples so this was ideal; however, I would caution that there are fairly steep, slippery staircases to access the bedrooms, which could prove problematic for anyone with mobility issues. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped for a holiday rental (one of the best we’ve stayed in). There is an American-style drip coffee makers but one recommendation would be to include a French coffee press. The village itself is small and quiet and ideally situated for exploring the area. All-in-all a lovely stay!

Summary: I saw a picture of Le Petite Maison 8 years ago and loved it. I have painted it several times. When my brother was on hospice a photo of the house came up on my phone. And I promised him I would go. It was spiritual and magical at the same time🌹. Wonderful village and people.

Summary: The house is tucked into the hillside in the perfect location to launch your adventures in the Périgord region. The village is wonderful to wander through and was not far from many other sites and activities and we wanted to see. One of our favorite activities was relaxing in the evening on the little patio with a nice white wine or rosé at the end of the day
