Enjoy Beautiful Lake Bellaire! Rent this beautiful all-seasons cedar cottage located on 130 feet of shared lake frontage near the quaint town of Bellaire. This true Northern Michigan lakefront cottage is located on 1,800 acre all-sports Lake Bellaire and near the mouth of the Grass River.
We also offer weekly rentals of our 22ft pontoon separately from the cottage. Inquire with owner after cottage rental booked.
Experience the beautiful Northern Michigan Sunsets overlooking the lake. Also, enjoy the loons as they make their unique calls in the morning and evening. Have fun splashing around on the sandy bottom lake all day where the shallow waters reach outwards of 150 feet from shore, making it a safe, fun swim location for small children.

Summary: Fairly good condition - we repaired one large blind - did not find 2nd key but that was no problem since we were always together - we used very little of the facility - fans were adequate for the weather we had

Summary: This is the perfect spot for anyone who wants to visit Torch Lake, but still have the option to get away from the crowds and traffic of Torch. The cottage is on Lake Bellaire, which is connected to Torch by cruising on the beautiful Grass River, then motoring through a short trip on Clam Lake. Torch is beautiful, but obviously much more busy than the surrounding lakes. Our kids loved the sandbar on the south end of Torch, but truly enjoyed tubing behind the boat on the quieter Bellaire. The cottage was immaculate, and the perfect place for my family of five to shut the rest of the world off for a week. Our kids (11, 7 and 3) loved the oversized bunk beds, and having a DVD player in the kids' room gave them a neat luxury they don't have at home. The screened-in "porch" is enormous, and a great place to eat a meal or play cards. The supermarket was less than 10 minutes away, so we were able to buy some meat to grill at the cottage. Everything was very clean, and even the wifi was great, which was amazing given the location. Don was great to work with, and the check-in/check-out process could not have been easier. Our biggest worry was making sure we didn't miss the gorgeous sunsets over Lake Bellaire! We were sad to leave, but if we head back to the Torch Lake area in the future, we certainly hope to stay here again! Cheers!

Summary: Don and Kim have a great little lake cottage get away spot for those looking for a quiet Northern Michigan retreat. We stayed with our teen and preteen daughters and each had a friend there for at least part of our week stay. Six people would be cramped in the two bedrooms but we made use of the futon in the screed in porch (didn't even take advantage of the pull out couch) and everyone had comfortable sleeping accommodations. Besides being a great place to sleep the screened in porch was a wonderful spot to kick back at night and enjoy the sunset without having to worry about mosquitoes. Our biggest draw to the property was the chain of lakes and really enjoyed exploring them with our boat. The cottage sits on Lake Bellaire which has relatively low boat traffic and was great for swimming, fishing and water sports. We made the trip down the Grass River, through Clam Lake and into Torch Lake a couple times during our stay to experience the more lively lake atmosphere. The only drawback to the boating was having to use a mooring ball versus being able to dock the boat at night. It would have been nice at times to be able to go out for a sunset cruise without having to get wet. All in all we had a great time and would recommend Don and Kim's place to anyone looking for that up north lake cottage feel.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at Seymour Sunsets. The cottage is perfect for a northern Michigan getaway. It is close to everything. We even took a one and a half hour drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes and ventured to Traverse City for a day. My dad uses a wheelchair and he was able to stay here fairly easily. It worked for everyone in our family.

Summary: Owners were very communicative and cooperative. Our rental experience was seamless. Loved the responsiveness and personal attention, like a good friend! Especially loved the pontoon option. Vacation wouldn’t have been the same without it.

Summary: Our family absolutely loved our week-long stay at this clean and peaceful cottage. The bed was super comfortable, there were lots of board games for those quiet evenings, best sunsets I've ever seen, and the cottage is fully stocked. All we had to bring was beach towels and food. The location is perfect to get to the other lakes as well.
