Gorgeous lake views from every room with a fabulous location in a cove just off the main channel of the lake! This location provides a terrific combination of calm water for swimming and floating off the dock or kayaking (2 provided) and paddle boarding (2 provided) from the small beach with quick and easy access to the main channel for boating. The flat yard provides a great place for all kinds of yard games. Additionally, there is a fire pit next to the water which provides a wonder place to gather on cool nights.
This unique home features an upper level with a great room that is open to a spacious kitchen and dining area. There is also a large outdoor deck with dining and lounge seating that provides beautiful waterfront views! The family suite is on the upper level with one king bedroom and a connected bedroom with two full beds with an ensuite bath that is perfect for parents and children. The lower level has a family room with pool table, summer kitchen, 4 bedrooms (3 king rooms, & a bunk room with 4 twins), 2 bathrooms & a huge covered porch for maximum waterfront relaxation! A simply Amazing Lake Retreat Home!
This is our lake home designed for family vacations and as such it is not intended for gatherings beyond those staying at the house. There are supplies of all soaps (bar, dishwasher, laundry, shampoo), paper products (napkins, toilet paper, tissues, paper towels), and sheets & towels for indoor use. There are also always some spices and condiments that are available in the cabinet and refrigerator. We invite you to use what we have available and leave what you don't use or need to purchase during your visit.
200' of shoreline just off the main channel near NC 150. Grocery stores and restaurants are within a 10-minute drive. There are also several restaurants with bars within a 10-minute boat ride. The private dock and small beach provide a wonderful area for swimming along with a kayak for water fun. We also have a 23 ft 2018 Bennington Tritoon with a 150 hp Yamaha engine that is great for pleasure boating and tubing which is available for rent with booking. If you have your own boat, there is a put-in about 200 yards from the house.

Summary: The house was perfect for our group of 12 (6 kids). After full days enjoying boating on the lake, the kids played on the dock, fishing and swimming while we cooked dinner. We would definitely stay here again. Quiet, beautiful lake retreat.

Summary: This house was perfect for us! It was so nicely decorated, a lot of comfortable and well placed furniture! All the amenities we needed. Games and entertainment such as pool table, ping pong table, kayaks and paddle boards. A very nice beach area. The dock is in good shape with convenient dock lines and bumpers in place. Tom and Kris were super helpful. We happened to run out of gas for the grill one night and Kris was there early the next morning with 2 new refills. Can’t say enough good about this place and its owners! Thank you for a wonderful week!

Summary: 1) would be nice to have drawers in all bedrooms. 2) we thought we saw cornhole game on a picture? 3) in summary house was just fine. Boat was great. Our family was comfortable and really enjoyed.

Summary: The house was nice and on the lake, but is surrounded by old trailers. One bedroom is odd because you have to walk through it to get to the other bedroom. If you have to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, you need to walk through a room with people sleeping or walk outside to the deck and through the house. The AC did not work well on the bottom floor. We couldn’t get it below 77 degrees. The house is a bit small for 14 guests, I don’t believe it’s quite 3500 square feet. The house has a nice lake view and is very close to the lake with easy access. Owner was very easy to work with.

Summary: The house and location on the lake cove were perfect. The house was very large and and had plenty of room for our family of 13. We had 8 adults and 2 teenagers and two 9 month old twins. The layout of the house was perfect for our family dinners and game nights we had each night. The beach at the house was great. The entire family from kids to adults spent most of the days in the lake swimming and hanging out. The cove was quiet and you could boat to many places to eat on the lake. Tom and Chris were awesome hosts and the house had all the amenities we needed. If you are looking for a great family lake vacation, I highly recommend this lake house.

Summary: Everything was great. Our group had no issues and loved having the tritoon available all week for tubing & swimming from. Fishing from the dock went well too. Highly recommend.

Summary: House was great. Gorgeous back porch with rocking chairs. Only issue we had, was the two rooms upstairs are connected. You have to walk through one of the rooms to get to the bathroom from the other room which distracts the people in that room sleeping..

Summary: This home accommodated my family of 11 (ages 9 - 74) beautifully. We had great weather and spent most of the time in and around the water... swimming, floating, kayaking, boating, tubing, and fishing. Thank you Tom and Kris for sharing your lovely home and fun boat with us for a week.

Summary: This beautiful and expansive home was perfect for our family celebration for 8 adults, and 5 kids (13-4). Extremely well furnished for all our daily needs for sleeping, cooking, kayaking, paddle boarding, and pool table playing. Didn’t use the ping pong table, but it was available. We rented the optional pontoon boat with plenty of power for water skiing, tubing (provided), and cruising the lovely lake. Owner Tom was very responsive to any questions or requests. Couldn’t have been more pleased with our 4 days!
