Welcome to the Orchid Estate! This newly remodeled 5,500sqft home features 6BD/6BA, movie room, billiards, putt-putt, resort backyard, Lynx BBQ, heated pool, jacuzzi, gourmet kitchen, large open spaces, cable/wifi, and so much more. Perfect for large family gatherings, group business travel, or just a luxurious trip to Phoenix. Located one block off iconic Central Ave, Orchid Estate is in the center of everything Phoenix has to offer. Privately owned and operated and always at your service.
GENERAL
This beautifully appointed and spacious home is a place that Michele and I intend to spend our twilight years, lounging in the pool and having large family gatherings with our five children and (eventual) grandchildren. Until then, we are offering it for short term rental to mature and respectful individuals that appreciate the work that has gone into the home and will act as caretakers and good neighbors during their stay. Parties, smoking on property, drug use of any kind, videography, and animals are all STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Maximum occupancy is 14 adults and up to 6 children.
SUSTAINABILITY
We believe in taking care of the planet for the next generation, so all our hotel quality bath soaps are in paper packaging for easy recycling and the entire home is powered by solar energy.
BEDROOMS
1st Floor Owners Suite features a King bed, private seating area with 65" TV, wall to wall closets, ceiling fan, dimmable lighting, direct access to the Media Room, private master bathroom with soaking tub and dual vanities. Huge walk-in shower with dual showerheads, body sprayer and bench. Water closet hidden by frosted glass door.
1st Floor Bedroom #2 features a Queen bed, large closet, ceiling fan, private 55" TV and is located right next to the bathroom.
1st Floor Bedroom #3 is all about the kids and features three twin beds (bunks), a queen size bed, 65" TV, play table, ceiling fan, huge closet armoire, sky lights, and lounge chairs with foot rests.
1st Floor Bedroom #4 offers a King bed, ceiling fan, direct access to the outside, an attached common area bathroom, 55" TV, and it's own A/C system.
2nd Floor Bedroom # 5 features two Queen beds, 55" TV, private balcony, seating area, ceiling fan, walk-in closet and private bathroom.
2nd Floor Bedroom # 6 features two Queen beds, 55" TV, private balcony, seating area, ceiling fan, walk-in closet and private bathroom.
AMENITIES
Inside the home you'll find everything you need for your stay, including all the essential supplies, utensils, and high-end KitchenAid natural gas appliances. The pantries are stocked with enough dishes for any size group and every bathroom includes plenty of soap, freshly washed bath, makeup and hand towels.
The Media Room features a projecter with 100" screen, 1000W sound system for an intense movie experience, billiard table, board games, kitchenette with full bathroom, and direct access to both the Master Bedroom and backyard.
Outside you'll find plenty of lounge seating, a huge pool with baja ledge and water feature, heated spa, fountain, dual pergolas for shade, Lynx 48" BBQ with infrared burners and side burners, two umbrellas, multiple lounge chairs, pool towels, palm trees, four ceiling fans, putt-putt with fringe and putters.
Spa Heat included with rental price. Pool heat charged seperately at $75/day. Early check-in and late check-out offered free of charge but only when available. Cleaning fee is $400.
Garage not available, but there is parking for four vehicles in the side driveway and additional free street parking if required.

Summary: This is the third time we have stayed at a “ James Property “, once at a previous houseand twice at this one. The house has all the creature comforts one could want and the location is ideal— it is literally close to everything- the ball park, restaurants, hiking trails. What really distinguishes the property is the responsiveness of the owner. There really is no issue that is not immediately addressed. There is a sign in the kitchen that says, “ Welcome Home” and we certainly felt at home during our stay.

Summary: Really well-appointed and pristine home with plenty of space for a large family. Gorgeous pool and hot tub for relaxing at home, and many of the places we wanted to visit (e.g., Desert Botanical Garden, Camelback Mountain) were short drives away. Neighborhood felt quite safe, and there's a grocery store and several restaurants nearby. James was very responsive to questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: There were 12 of us and we all enjoyed our stay here at this beautiful home. Not one person was disappointed with their sleeping quarters. The back yard was thee amazing set up for us…..Pool was heated & the Spa was perfect. The temps were cooler after sunset (we are from Chicago and was told we brought the cool air thru when we arrived prior weeks were 80’s /90’s) however that’s what the fire pit was for and it was awesome! The home was very clean, we found the kitchen to be more fully stocked than expected, from past rentals, which was awesome! Another great feature in the home was the entertainment room where we had movie nights that was great entertainment! The only inconvenience that we had was the water censor on the kitchen sink (we are an older generation) took some time for us at first, a few mastered it some never got it but that was very minor. James (The Host) advised anything tech wise ask your children….I had to call my daughter to guide me on the PS4 station to watch movies in the entertainment room. Overall a Fabulous home and a great stay for us! James was the perfect host to make us feel right at home and the communications was exceptional. I would definitely rent again and would recommend to friends and family!

Summary: The house was perfect for our large group, and we loved the resort fell of the backyard. We cooked most of our meals at the house and it was nice to have the all the little things needed already there. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and even provided a welcome basket. We'd recommend this house!

Summary: We were a family group of five adults who came to Phoenix for White Sox spring training games. The Sox were our only disappointment ( only one win). The house, on the other hand, was a winner in every way. It had all the amenities, and we enjoyed them all— the spa, the pool, the putt putt golf, and many creature comforts. We loved having Alexa lock doors and manage the lights, not to mention playing Irish music for us on St. Patrick’s Day! The house is also centrally located— not far from anywhere we wanted to go. James is a remarkably attentive host. Any questions we had received an immediate response. We would be very happy to stay in this great house again!

Summary: Had a great time with a handful of 50 something -year-olds when golf in the area. The backyard was fantastic for a hot tub at the end of the day, and the kitchen was more than enough to accommodate us all. Would highly recommend.

Summary: 5 families with 14u boys stayed here for the tournament. Great house- plenty of space and the boys loved the pool and game room. Host was super responsive to questions.. great spot!!

Summary: James was amazing to work with and very accommodating. The house is beautifully renovated and the lay out is great; there was a total of 13 of us and we were very comfortable and each family still had their own space.
