Summary: Well located. Not on the slopes but a small walk. Older style lodge with character. Very friendly owners and staff (have run the lodge for 45 years). Great to stay in a property that has history and feels Japanese (rather than a spartan modern hotel). Make a great bowl of Udon noodles. The bunk beds are solid as rocks made of wood and are very spacious and comfortable. Best view in the world of the slopes from your bed.
