Spend your next vacation at our home located within the Plantation Golf and Country Club in Venice, Florida, just minutes away from several beautiful beaches, restaurants, shopping and outdoor activities. Our top floor, fourth story, 14 foot cathedral ceiling condominium is bright and beautiful and overlooks the 10th fairway of the Bobcat course of the Plantation Golf and Country Club. The elevator is just a few steps from our door! Venice is a quaint and tranquil town near the Gulf of Mexico located within 60 minutes of Sarasota, Fort Myers, and Tampa Bay.
For those of you who enjoy biking, Venice has many lovely bike paths including Sunset Park, Manasota Beach, and Venetian Waterway Legacy Trail.

My wife and I bought this condominium from her mom and dad who were the original owners. The unit is pristine and we welcome 'Snow Birds' into our home. Enjoy!

We are a top floor unit of a four-story building with an elevator within steps of our condo.
The elevator makes access easy for all.
Step out onto the lanai and witness a spectacular view of the 10th fairway of the Bobcat course of the prestigious Plantation Golf and Country Club.
We have a social membership at the club that allows you access to the restaurant in the grand clubhouse, junior-Olympic size swimming pool (it's big!), spa, and state-of-art fitness center. All of these amenities are within easy walking distance from the condominium. I have a complete set of golf clubs which is available to my renters.
Beaches and restaurants are just a 15-minute drive from our condo. I enjoy eating at Finn's and many other great eating establishments in downtown Venice. We have a list of restaurants in our condo
Our home is fully furnished and includes a 14-foot cathedral ceiling in the living room, 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms which sleeps six with our queen size pullout sofa, and a fully equipped kitchen with all updated appliances. You won’t be disappointed!

Summary: My stay at this unit was all good --- clean, comfortable and secure. I'm relatively "picky" and this place was just fine. I would definitely recommend it to others interested in a quiet and relaxing break. The place is not large (esp the kitchen), but the layout is good, as the bedrooms are separated, allowing privacy notwithstanding the square footage.

Summary: We stayed in Mike and Nancy's condo in February 2015. Can't say enough about their condo. It is furnished extremely nice. It is so well equipped...3 flat screen TVs; kitchen was perfect. They even left a computer to use if needed. The pictures of this condo show exactly what is there. The grounds at Plantation are beautiful! Another plus was the use of the country club for dinner and golf. We have stayed in Plantation before and their condo is the nicest of all the ones we stayed in. Looking forward to coming back.

Summary: I had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful condo looking out on the 10th green of Plantation Country Club. Everything was new and very well taken care of. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was fully furnished and the internet and big screen TV were a plus. It was easy to make it my home for 2 weeks. It was not far from the beach and shopping. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable place to stay.

Summary: Our condo experience here was much better than expected. Great location close to everything - shopping, restaurants & beaches. Our landlord was exceptional to deal with - every inquiry was promptly addressed. We plan on staying here again next year!!!

Summary: We stayed at Mike & Nancy's condo in Nov 09. This was our first visit to Florida & we greatly enjoyed the experience. The condo was luxurious, had everything we needed and was very conveniently located. We swam in the adjacent pool, borrowed books from the clubhouse, watched world golf on Mike's TV, played bridge with other residents & joined in the Venice festival carnival. We had a great time. We temporarily joined the Plantation CC but found that we didn't use it. We played golf most days & there are so many interesting courses around that the manicured parklands of Plantation didn't excite us. Would highly recommend the area and the condo to everyone.

Summary: This was our first we stayed in FL or a month. The condo was perfect for our needs and the location was great. The time flew by with all the things to do in the area. We took advantage of the social club membership. Mike was attentive to all our needs.
