One bedroom unit within beautiful Victorian home, located on the most pristine part of Long Sands Beach in York, Maine - Only a few steps from the water (no ocean view, but rather that of a quiet, lovely, grassy area). Fully furnished. Modern kitchen, full bath, living room, dining area, patio and nice yard.
Linens not included (available upon request).
Maximum occupancy 2 adults.
Summer rentals: 7 night minimum from Saturday to Saturday.

Unit is located on the first level of home - Entrance to unit is accessed from the back of house. **Please be advised that our family lives upstairs during the summer. As this is an older home, some sound from upstairs can be heard below. During the week it is extremely quiet upstairs, but on weekends there’s a bit more activity. We do our best to minimize the disruptions.

Summary: Perfect location, clean, well-equipped kitchen, quiet basement apartment. My only recommendation is that the lack of sheets and bathroom towels should be mentioned more prominently in the opening description. We had to make a last minute booking for this property, and didn't get word that we needed to find sheets and towels until 10 am of the first day. Most guests will assume that sheets and towels are provided, as this is the first property we have stayed at that did not provide them. Otherwise, this is an excellent location for any York Beach activities as it is directly across the street from the beach. The basement apartment is very quiet, we didn't get any road noise at all. The kitchen appliances were all as described, and worked perfectly.

Summary: I really enjoyed this spot. Great low key spot. Love that there was a place around the corner to cover any extra needs… sandwiches and ice cream plus. Surprise Bonfire with a cookout and band for the Holiday was a huge bonus. Hostess was lovely.

Summary: Had the most amazing beach vacation this week! This was our second time staying at this property, and it was equally as wonderful as the first time we came! The apartment was spotless, decorated beautifully, and had everything we needed for our vacation, not to mention the very best part of being literally 50 steps from the beach!!! Julie, Geoff, and Stephanie all met us when we arrived, making sure we were all set, and met us as we left to say thank you and goodbye….we have already booked our week for next year!! They are all so warm and friendly, it made it seem like we were going to visit family…thank you again!!

Summary: This was our second stay at Julie's rental. Once again the place was perfect. It's right across the street from Long Sands which is ideal. It's so clean and well decorated. The location is quiet despite being on a busy road. We enjoyed sitting out at the small table on the patio playing board games. It was the perfect way to end a beach day. It has a full kitchen that allows you to bring groceries and cook in. That's a nice feature especially if you don't want to go out to a restaurant. There are 2 tvs to watch. Both are Smart tvs and ready to use with your streaming accounts. This is great if you have a rainy day or you just want to chill and watch some tv. This is our third year coming to Maine for a girls getaway and this rental is simply the best. We rented a different one the first year and would never, ever, ever go back. Julie knows what renters need and want. Check this rental out, you will not be disappointed.
