Summary: Being right across the street from Long Sands is ideal if you plan on spending your time on the beach. Great restaurant, store, and ice cream all within 2 minutes.

Summary: We had a great time spending the week at this cute little cottage. It was literally steps from the beach and often closer of a walk than the ocean when sitting on your beach chair. House was perfect for our family of four with two young kids. Owner was lovely and checked in frequently. Would definitely stay at this property again!

Summary: The location is superb! Although you can't see the ocean, (the rental property is just behind the main house that is on the ocean front) you are located right on the Long Beach and simply need to cross the road to be on the Beach. So sunrise on the beach, sunset or starry nights on the beach are all just literally 30 steps away! Several houses to the right is a general store with all the necessities and food you might need. Two houses down to the left is Ice-cream parlor,.that also sells lunch/dinner. The air is filled with breezy ocean aroma and the place stays cool and comfortable throughout the day, despite the absence of AC. It is actually was a pleasure to have fresh ocean air in the house all day. The house has a porch with plenty of chairs and rocking chairs to enjoy the perfect day outdoors. We mostly cooked ourselves for 4 people and used every appliance that the house offers -- everything is in the good working condition, and it seems that any need can be easily accommodated. Those are all the Pros. The cons are: Wi-Fi is practically non-existent, you can catch a very weak signal on the porch, but even that only gives you a low data mode option. The sofa bed in the living room is super old and I don't think anyone could sleep on it as is, since the bars will attempt to break your neck. In general, everything inside is super basic and old. Shower is tiny and could be cleaner. But as I said, everything was working just fine for us -- hot water, shower pressure, toilet, stove, microwave, toaster, etc.
