This beautiful villa combines the best modern finishes with the classic Mexican touches we love, including stunning boveda (brick dome) ceilings and expert masonry work which can be found throughout the home. Fully equipped, you will find everything you need for your relaxing getaway including air conditioning, ceiling fans, satellite TV, CD / DVD players, and high speed WiFi internet connectivity.
The living and dining areas are warm and welcoming with lots of seating and a comfortable leather sofa to relax. Your granite countertop kitchen is fully stocked with all the cooking and dining equipment you need to prepare meals at home when you are not enjoying the fine restaurants that Playa del Carmen has to offer. As well, you will find modern stainless steel appliances including a fridge, stove, microwave and oven. If you would like to do laundry on your vacation there is a large laundry room with a full-sized washer and dryer for your convenience.
With four large bedrooms, and plenty of living space, you can easily accommodate 12 family members on 3 king-sized beds, 2 full-sized beds and a queen sized sofa-bed. The king-size master bedroom features a large terrace with a stunning ocean view. Each bedroom has its own en-suite full bathroom and all the linens you will need. But once you get a glimpse of that turquoise water from those large bedroom windows or sundeck, you are going to want to move on outside.
Take a refreshing dip in the pool or linger awhile on the loungers. The pool is shared with our sister villa. Use the available gas grill, or just enjoy your morning coffee at the dining table under the shaded lanai and watch for hummingbirds among the palms.
A short walk will get you to the quiet white sand beaches of the Playacar community. You will find a boogie board or two in the house as well as towels and beach chairs / umbrellas, so pack a picnic lunch and head over to the best beach in the vicinity. If you can tear yourself away from the sound of the gentle waves, you will find so much more to do in this gated, secure community. In addition to being immediately adjacent to Playa del Carmen’s world-famous beach clubs, shopping and dining districts, and the inimitable 5th Avenue (known to locals as La Quinta), Playacar is home to its own collection of ancient Mayan Ruins, an aviary, golf and tennis, biking and walking paths, and its own shopping and dining opportunities.
In Mayan, Iich-Naj means “twin house” and this villa is the perfect companion to its next-door neighbor. If you have a large group, you can rent that villa (Jalach-Naj) as well for up to 20 guests, sharing the beautiful pool between the villas.

Summary: This was a beautiful property - perfect for our group of 8 on a girls weekend. The property manager was excellent and responded immediately when we had an issue with one of the air conditioning units. The beach is just a few steps away and was perfect for relaxing and swimming.There is so much to do in the area!

Summary: I loved the layout of the house and the furnishings. There were plenty of bath and beach towels. The house was very spacious for seven people. A big plus was the onsite presence of David, the "helper". He attended to any issues we had and carried our chairs and umbrellas back and forth from/to the beach. I only have two criticisms which pale in comparison to the positives (I did give the experience five stars. First, it would be great if the owner would change the bathroom faucets; they are pretty but spray water all over the sink and counter. Second, it is time to replace the washing machine. It worked but is getting pretty rusted. We would stay here again.

Summary: The villa was nicer than photos. We had a great time. The location was fabulous, very close to everything. Excellent response from management team. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

Summary: We stayed at Jalach-Naj and Lich-Naj in Fase 1, Playa Car. When we arrived one house had no hot water heat. Angela came over the next morning and both hot water heaters were out. She lit both heaters and problem fixed. We went to barbecue the next afternoon and the propane tank was empty, again Angela took care of the problem. A couple of days later we were totally shocked to find that the washing machine did not shut off and flooded part of the lower level. We spent hours moving furniture outside to protect it and mopping up the water. We finally got ahold of Angela and she brought over towels and picked up the wet ones. It ruined our afternoon and that part of the house was a mess. I messaged Erin who thanked us for our efforts but that was it. No one came by to clean up the next day or at all. This house really needs to be updated and have a dishwasher installed. The pool itself needs work with many broken tiles. The Lich-Naj house was fantastic with no issues. Both of these homes are in perfect locations and even with the issues we had a wonderful time. Hopefully this helps.

Summary: Wonderful property with all of the amenities! The house was fabulous, and fit our family of 9 perfectly. Each bedroom has its own bath and all of the beds were extremely comfy. Erin was always available and responsive. The kitchen was well equipped and had absolutely everything that we needed. The living area fit us all comfortably -- when we were there. We spent a lot of our time in and around the pool or up on the balcony. It was a wonderful way to spend our day. We did spend some time at the beach...a short minutes walk. The house came with chairs, so that was awesome. We also walked to the city every day. Super easy walk! We always felt safe in the neighborhood, with security always being present. Susan was amazing! She was able to deliver our groceries for us, and we wished we would have gotten more and requested that she cook a meal for us. She was also extremely helpful in recommending excursions. She was overall fantastic.

Summary: The service was excellent and very responsive. From recommending restaurants to ordering taxis for us to responding to our call about a leaky bathroom pipe, to immediately replacing a broken coffee pot. The cleaning lady was also meticulous and efficient. And the property was very spacious and accommodating. Thoroughly Enjoyable.
