Positive: Perfect beach location. The staff and management were super friendly and helpful. Beautiful premises and literally 2 minutes walk to Lamai restaurants and nightlife. Highly recommended for a cheaper option with all the benefits.

Positive: Location is fabulous with direct access to the beach.
Negative: Wifi is weak and intermittent, and the management don't care. Maintenance is a low priority. It's a shame. The bungalows closer to the beach are okay, the rooms closer to reception are in need of an upgrade to the 21st century. The linen is tatty and the bed is very uncomfortable. (Thai answer to contraception). Ask for a mattress topper. The outdoor lounges are verging on decrepid. The saving grace of Marina Beach Resort is the location and the lovely ladies attending the rooms daily.

Positive: The location is great right on the beach and a short walk to the bars and restaurants. Staff are very friendly and the room and balcony are a good size.
Negative: The bed was very hard it was like sleeping on a slab of concrete.
